All the non-Convention goers need to check the forum on SCS around Convention time and sign up to have a Convention going buddy:mrgreen:

I have a buddy who is going to get me everything I want and swap for me and send me pictures everyday and copies of her notes!!
In return I made her a nice special surprise to take with her to Convention and bought her a little something from her wishlist, too;)

I don't recall seeing it anywhere. Was it in a forum? Give me a clue for next year. But everyone is so nice on scs that someone pm me and is willing to pick up what I want. I asked for one thing from my demo but after reading the forums want all the other stuff you see.

I too signed up for the list too and have NewDemo as my convention goer. She called me yesterday from the momento mall and I'm so excited that she is there and can't wait to live through her with everything.

I so never even saw that! Wish I did! I am loving all the updates and photos from everyone there. I can't wait until next year, I am so going! I am lucky that I have someone getting me what I want also! But wish I had heard about the buddy thing.

I had completely forgotten about the convention buddy thing until soon after it had closed. During part of the year my regular job is too demanding for me to spend much, if any, time at SCS (I know, the horror), and by the time I remembered reading about it last year (when I went to convention for the first time, and missed offering to be a buddy for the same reason), it was too late.

I'm sad I can't get those extremely cool items, but that's nothing compared to the difficult decision I had to make to not attend convention this year. I definitely hope to go next year AND I've put it on my calendar for next spring to sign up to be a buddy.
