Not only did I sign up for a class, I signed up for three. And there was the sheet of UM rubber, the wood mounted stamps, the pen, and the two new inkpads. My budget would have preferred that I sat around bored just a little while longer!
It's a really good thing we don't have a LSS!! Well... not a stamp store. We have a large scrapbooking store but I can only buy so much paper and that's what they have the most of ~ and stickers.
Now... that said... there is a huge STAMP store about an hour from here... I'm planning on being bored some morning after school starts LOL!!
I will only get what is on my list, I will only get what is on my list, I will not look, touch, peruse, pickup, handle anything that is not on my list, I will only get what is on my list.

My problem when I get bored is going online and ordering stuff, and as for only buying what is on my list I am doomed because I never use a list when I go into a craft store.
oh man i have done that so many times, and especially when you dont need anything its such a bad habit im bored now.. but too tired to go anywhere. lol

the thing about lists is...
i have like 3 lists!
1. my SU! list which already has a couple things written in at my friend/demos house. i tell her to 'put it on my tab!' every time we get together i add a thing or 2 to it. and i know i want the scallop border punch, i want some black craft ink and i need pink gingham ribbon! AND... i haven't even seen the new catalog yet!
2. my enabler... i mean basic supplies list which has scorepal, large clear EP and dark/black pot dots. i have discovered that i NEED these items as per SCSers!
3. and my general list of stamp images i would like to have... patriotic, fishing? masculine, tools/tool theme, ice cream, cupcake, kitchen utensil/theme, wedding/bride/groom, penquins (for my niece), monkeys (for my daughter & her friends), owls (can't even tell you why i seem to be drawn to these birds of late!), alphabets.
RIBBON is always on my radar! i am a sucker for the 'dress it up' stuff! i really could go on and on and on... but i am thinking that some of you know exactly were i am coming from!
Sounds like what happened to me today. Went to Michaels because dh needed some yarn for a crochet project and I ended up with a bunch of new to me $1 stamps, some $1 ribbon, a copy of Somerset Studio and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
