Default Okay--Zip 'eMate Looks COOL!! Where Can I Get One?

After reading all of these posts about the Zip 'eMate, I just might splurge. I used to have the Sizzix--I sometimes regret getting rid of it and was just telling DH I *might* want another one (I had to approach this verrrry carefully lol). But, I felt limited by the styles of dies for the Sizzix. So, this machine might be the answer! I LOVE that you can use other brands of dies with it. It opens up a whole new world!

So my question is: does anyone know if this is something Michael's might carry? Anyone that saw it at a scrapbook expo know anything more about it? I know it's $129 from AccuCut but wouldn't it be nice to use that 40-50% off coupon?

Thanks!

I did see a few on e-bay the other day ... around $100 I think! Just went to crafts and searched for Zip 'eMate. Good luck! Let us all know what you think

Michaels does not carry it. I was thinking the same thing with the coupon. I ended up finding it at an LSS while I was vacationing in the states. I had to pay full price...well, at least I used it today! You may be able to to find it cheaper on ebay. You can check out their website at www.cutathome.com

I got mine at www.paperdreamsstore.com. Ilana is very nice and excellent customer service when you have any questions. If you wind up getting it there, please mention my name Diane Sozio.
Good luck!

I just saw one of these at the Memories Expo in Orlando this past weekend! The store that was selling them, sold out during the show so i wasn't able to get one.

As somone who doesn't own and has never used a sissix or kwik cuts, i was very interested. I have often thought about doing different things with the dies but, I hated to spend all that money investing in the machines. This one does it all and it dry embosses (on dark paper too, i might add!), which is one of my favorite things!

Anyone have this yet? How much are you using it?

I did see it on eBay for $100, which was $29 cheaper than buying from the company website. I love the idea of embossing with it also!

I think I just decided what the DH is getting me for my birthday. I have to laugh--I always get myself a "nice" gift from him to me, say it's for my birthday, and when my birthday comes (in December) he's forgotten he's already gotten me 2-3 nice gifts already. Am I sneaky or what (lol)!

Thanks ladies. I can't wait to get it and play!

Default sneeky wives...

I jsut had to add my own version of the sneeky wife...
my hubby gave me $$$ for my last B-Day. (I don't like $$ gifts but oh that's another story)
anyway I wanted a mothers ring so I went to order it. Whip out the charge card, and then as I walked away remembered the $$$ in my pocket.
Oh well, if he can't shop for me once in awhile I guess he can double it ... cause he usually pays the charge card. LOL
I did tell him the story cause I felt kinda bad.

Since the topic has changed to sneaky wife...a friend used to buy herself a wonderful Christmas gift and put in under the tree marked: From Santa. When she opened it in front of her kids what could her DH say? LOL Wish I had thought of it when mine were small.
