Count me in - I love them, too. On another thread they were discussing whether to trim them or not. Mine - NOT! Stick and go! Lots less wait time to get to the fun!
I agree!!!! Although I do end up trimming some of them....like the circle seem to have too much excess and whatnot. But it's a HUGE time save.
Riorabbit, it's the new sets in the catalog right now (they are marked with the die-cut symbol) but every set in the Spring/Summer catalog will be die-cut.
Cool, arent they? I did start out by trimming some of them a bit more but with my last order I didnt bother and just put them on the wood blocks - they stamp perfectly and its such a time saver :-)
Stampin' Up! announced that all stamp will be die-cut in the new idea book & catalog coming in 2009. I can't wait! They are fantastic. I don't trim mine, I just pop them on the block, put the sticker on and stamp. It's a good thing!! (in my Martha Stewart Voice!!) LOL

Thank god they will all be die-cut! The stamps i've had to trim myself look awful! I'm sure a 3rd grader could do it better. Thank you SU! for making stamping easier
If it's that easy, maybe I'll have my wife show me how to put a set together this weekend. I have some die cut sets I got at this years Stampin Up convention I have been meaning to try out.
I'll let you know how it goes.

I thought at first that this was a good thing but now I am not so sure. I unmount them as a matter of course and it actually threw up a few problems ie I like having a bit of border to cut off once they are on the EZ mount so that the scissors don't get so gummed up and I get a cleaner cut to the edge. Also, is it my imagination, but the rubber definitely seemed thinner than other stamps I have and I wondered if this was due to a technical constraint of the die cutting, or perhaps it is just the batch I have?
Okay ... I just found an SU demo and meant to ask her about the diecut ones but forgot.
So they come pre-cut and NOT on wood blocks? You attach them to the wood once you get them?
I don't have any rubber stamps (just acrylics) and just found the SU demo because I've heard RAVES about their punches but I know there are a couple sets I wouldn't mind having but didn't want the bulkiness of wood mounted stamps.
Yes, they come as a full rubber sheet of stamps, die cut and ready to pop out. You can either mount them on the provided wood blocks, or prepare them for use with acrylic blocks. I've read some people put the sticker meant for the wood block on the foam part of the stamp, then use the temporary adhesive of their choice.
