OMG! I'm balling my eyes out! RAK recieved
OMG! I have NO IDEA where to post this.
I am typing thru tears. I have had a rough couple of months with my daughter Alexa who was diagnoised with leukemia back in Feb. You have all been here to read my ups & downs and have been so supportive. BEYOND AMAZING! Stamping has been a huge stress reliever for me, as has this site. It sounds CRAZY but so true.
I *JUST* recieved registered mail from Staci Miserlan AKA misermom. I opened it to see an absolutely gorgeous card. So I open ithe card and There is an amazing list of members on here who contibuted gas cards and a *gift* from SpaGoda which I read I will see what that is when Alexa is admitted on Friday. Are you kidding!
I am OVERWHELMED. I am shaking as I type this. To think of all the cyber friends I have made on this site can be so caring is beyond words. My husband is also in shock, as I guess he recieved a message from I assume Staci a while back to call her. He never did, and totally forgot about the message till now. He said he didn't call cause she didn't leave a name. Needless to say he cannot believe the amazing people on here, and regrets complaining about the hours I was putting in here! LOL!
So How do I thank all of you? How did I miss this organization of wonderful people grouping together to pull off one of the most amazing RAK's I've ever heard of? I guess I better try to squeeze in stamping some thank yous! Oh, the pressure.
I cannot even tell you how much this touches me. Thank you a million times over from the bottom of my heart!

I am so excited you finally know about it...I have been checking every day and now you know! Woo hoo!
I am sorry you are bawling, but I am guessing a good cry will do you good anyway. I know that when I am going through something stressful crying is a great relief. ;)
I am so glad Staci organized this...you SO deserve it!

Yeah, I cannot even compose myself. I think the good cry turned into a lets get it all out cry. I'm going thru a huge rollercoaster of thought. From her diagnoises to all the wonderful things people have done for us.

This day has been amazing. I will NEVER forget it.
Then after I posted the phone rang-I thought it was Staci calling me and it ws papercratfs magazine. I am going to be published in the Februaury Special Birthday edition! I've been dying to get into Paper Crafts! It was my FIRST submission too!!!! Cannot believe it! What an amazing day. I can't wait to get my gift for being selected. I don't even know what I get. I don't even care. I just wanted to get published!
Ok back to happy tears.
So glad you received it, have been checking everyday. Thanks to Staci for organizing all of this.
Lauren, we are concerned about you and wanted to do something to make it a little better. You are such an amazing person. Prayers and Hugs to all of your family.
Congratulations on being published Lauren! You are one amazing woman! I'm glad that we could chip in and do something nice for you after all you've been going through. And thanks to Staci for getting it all together!
Oh and Lauren I'm doing a *happy dance* for getting published in Papercrafts!! (I gotta say I'm not surprised - they'd be crazy not to want your work!!)
{{{Hugs}}} to you and Alexa. You have been going through so much and we have all read about it and shared it with you. I think everyone thought that you could use a little something to make things a little bit easier. Enjoy.
COngratulations on Papercrafts that it wonderful!
I didn't know about what these fabulous ladies were planning, but I wish I had been a part of it. I don't get much opportunity to get on SCS and read all the forums etc. I just happened to see this one, and I went to the one you referred to. I don't know you, but hopefully through SCS I can develop a friendship with you and your precious daughter. God bless you and your family.

OK, I just got home from an 8 hour drive to pick up my DD's. They had been with their Grandparents for a week! I really missed them! They are outside playing and I stopped to check here.
Lauren, so glad you got one of your surprises, at least! It was SO HARD to keep it quiet! I hope the other one arrives safely, but I'll follow it up, if not.
I wasn't hard to arrange this, at all, as the SCS women are some of the most giving people I "have never met"! I'll let you know that I had to do this by PM because otherwise I knew you would see the thread. I just randomly chose to PM those people who had responded to Renee's (happystamper05's) recent thread about you when you seemed like you were having such a cruddy time of it. I couldn't have PM'd the whole demo side of SCS, although I'm sure that a huge number of them would have cared, I just had to pick the folks from somewhere, ya' know? So, that's how folks were contacted, just so you know.
Anyway, I'm going to ring you up now and try to talk and not break down crying myself! Lots to talk about!!
What a wonderful Thread! Oh how I wish I could have gotten in on this surprise! You deserve it! We all appreciate everything you do for US by sharing your creativity Lauren!
