I just got a peek at the NEW SU online catalog!!! WOW! It is a sight to behold.

TAC demo seeing confidential SU info --- how does that happen!! I am a TAC Demo and I don't have access to their info even thru my dearest of friends. Whats up kimeboss. And does the Angel Company know that you have access to SU info???? HMMMM
I'm a demo and it can be seen on the 'other side' of the SU! web site by demos right now. I showed it to my DH, who is VERY much a computer wiz, and even HE was impressed by all it's features!!! Just you wait - only 11 more days until it's made 'public' and you will LOVE it!! ;)

That's what I was wondering! It's only on the demo side right now (customers will get access on Nov. 1st), and she has been quite adamant that she isn't an SU! demo. Perhaps a friend let her log in and see the demo site? :confused:

Does this mean you don't have a VERY good friend that's a SU demo?? I'm sure IF TAC didn't know, they will now! lol!

Hey of somebody who is an SU demo gives kimeboss their information then so be it. Let's get back to important business-->
The on-line catalog rocks! For you wonderful customers of hard working demos like me (and a billion others on this site!;) ) it will be unveiled on November 1st. The features are great! If you are a hostess this will be a great way to share some of the info with your guests before your parties. Many of my customers are using eVites to track their guests and it will be so easy to add the catalog link to show the catalog to others.
Of course I still prefer having it in my hands, but it is really one of the nicest on-line catalogs I have ever seen. It has a "circle this" option, you can search by keywords, or go to specific sections (seasonals, holiday, accessories, etc.) Th eonly function that I actually think is superior to teh paper catty is that if you see the sample you can hover your mouse over it and it will give you all teh needed supplies right there.
Right now demos get a sneak peek (one of our bennies) in order to get a feel for it and then have the ability to help our customers with the new features, so don't be sad it is not unveiled to everyone quite yet. I am sure once you see it you will enjoy it! Only a few days wait and it will be unveiled to everyone.

Sorry Camsmom, I fell into the trap! :eek: The online catty is wonderful! You will all love it! I love the circle feature. Now I can keep track of everything that is on my long wishlist! Happy!

All of what you said!! Wow!! yeah, everyone get ready to send your orders to your SU demos at 12:01am Nov 1 !! You can do an email order to them and browse the catty in a different window. (I never can keep my catalog open to the right page, let along see the code numbers!) lol!!

LOL, I can relate to Camsmom! I am a new Demo and wasn't expecting the online catty to appear today! What a neat thing to see on the internet! I am always leaving my paper catty in another room but I am almost always near my laptop or computer, so this is neat... anyway, the circling feature is COOL! I kept circling and bookmarking over random things and coming back to them, just to see how they worked. SOOO cool!!!!!!!!! Really am impressed. You will all love it!!!

Ya know kimeboss I really don't care! but it is fun to see what you will say- I'm not sure I am the one who needs a rabies shot and it means my friends are awesome and ethical.
I am glad to hear about the new catty though and for once you said something nice about SU!! THAT alone is impressive!
and all ya all are right back to the issue -here is to an awesome catty- that is yet to be revealed!!!!

For someone who's had run ins with stampin up, it's nice to see you don't hold any animosity toward SU. THey really are a great company.
It is great but for someone who is on dial up out in the middle of nowhere she is wrong about the speed!!! It is slow for us that can't afford and/or get DSL or any other faster way to surf the internet. You all will love it but just be patient if you have dial up!!
At least it is one of those things we know we'll get to see eventually, so teasing won't feel as bad
Yep! Between the unveiling of the new gallery and the public release of the online catty, you girls are gonna absolutely be beside yourselves!
My first workshop is only five days after the catty release, so I can't wait for my hostess to be able to get all her friends to look it up before they come. They're all "stamping virgins", so I'm hoping this will help raise their enthusiasm level!

OK, I'm not a demo and I don't get it,,,, so what if the catty is online? I can't order from it, so what is the big deal???? From where I sit, it only makes it better for the demos, not the customer--if they really wanted to make it better for the customer, then be like CTMH and let the demo's add it to THEIR websites and customers can order from it!!!

No wish list, but you can place a bookmark on the page that you want something on. Almost like a yellow Post-It note. It shows on the left side of the page, regardless of how many pages you have turned. You can click on it, and it will bring you directly to that page - you don't have to wait for them to turn. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!! ;)

One thing i like about it is that I can see the contents of any project in the idea book with the click of a finger...I don't have to go thru the back of the catalog and search them out.

I think it will be great for stampers in a pinch. I've had customers who needed to order something on the fly and either didn't have their catty handy, couldn't find it, or just didn't own one. It will save me a trip to their house when they ask me for a stamp set that contains a particular thing. For example, I had a customer ask me if we sold any sets with tiaras. I could direct her to the online catty and give her the page.
