I am definitely forwarding this to my husband. Maybe I should forward it to my 7-month-old... The poor girl has to share her nursery with all of my stamp stuff! Hopefully we will be moving soon and then I can get my very own stamp room.
loved the article. i'm still laughing. My dh is not handy at all, I had to call an electrician to rewire my light fistures after he attempted to change the light bulbs! so I made my own little craft room in our basement. He didn't even know it was there, or how much I had accumulated until he came looking for me one day! lol don'ta just love it!

OMG!!! Now THAT'S funny!!! Gotta love it!!!
When I went to bed last night I could hear him typing up something with fury.... I got up this morning and he says:
"My article about you is finished"
"Oh yeah - wait - what article?"
"The one about your hobby"
"That was nice of you... what does it, um, say?"
"That I wish I had my dining room table back"
If you'd like to read about his battle with my table space.... here's the article:
Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Wow, Alesha, your DH is so talented and so funny. I emailed it to my DH, I know he is going to relate, he used to moan all the time about our dining table until he converted our smallest bedroom to my craft room.
The only inaccuracy, comparing a Cuttlebug to a drill. Does he not know how versatile a Cuttlebug is?
This is too funny! My husband was reading this over my shoulder, he cracked up. We used to have the same problem, only it was the kitchen table. Now I have my own little piece of the world in the basement! Thanks for sharing! Your husband sounds like a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor!

Wanna know something really funny? I don't even have one yet... but he knows that it's on my wishlist. A few of my girlfriends have one and he must hear them talking about it.
Oh my gosh! That article was so funny! Tell your hubby that he made me laugh until the tears flowed and somehow I think I have a husband who would totally agree with everything he said!
LOL! This is so funny--and so true! I have printed it off to show to DH when he gets home from work! It could have been written about me, since my "stamp room" is one end of the dining room table--and the other end is usually piled high with miscellaneous stamp related stuff!
That was great! What a creative writer your husband is! Along with being amazed by his creative writing ability, I am even MORE AMAZED by his correct terminology for the tools and knowing the "cuddlebug" name, etc! He is atleast paying attention to you and the hobby you love. My husband is clueless on what I do and really doesn't care to know! He sounds like a keeper!
This is hilarious!! I had to read it to my DH and we both cracked up. Mine surrendered years ago and now shops for and with me. Tell your hubby thanks for the laughs. I've got to save it.
Ha,ha,ha,ha! I loved his story!!!! He is a very descriptive writer! We have a small table in the kitchen but my large dining room table is ALWAYS covered with my stamping stuff. Sometimes I have a craft table downstairs covered too! My DH is always making cracks about it. I've recently added my Cuttlebug to one end of the dining room table so tell him to look out -you will "take the hill" he now calls his green zone once the CB moves in! Thanks also for letting me know about the Standard-Freelancer. I like to write and this looks like something interesting to me! Again, TFS.

That is a wonderful article. Should be required reading for all people who live with a stamper. I love that he even knew what a cuttlebug was. Get beyond a stamp and paper and my DH is clueless on what any of the stuff is.

THAT is HILARIOUS!!!! I had my DH read it just now and he's weeping with laughter....Thanks for sharing! What a talented (and perceptive) Hubby you have!
