I'm wondering if I'm the only one who does not want to know all the secrets in the new SU catalog before they get their hands on it? I stopped reading the all the threads and blogs about the new products cuz I want to enjoy all the surprises. The catalog will be a let down, if I know everything.
I'm just finding it annoying trying to sift through all the tidbits of info. and the zillions of blogs that are listed with sneak peeks. I injured my back this week, so it's hard to use the computer anyway. I'd rather just wait until I can flip through the catalog myself.

Even when I read about things online (for SU or for the company I sell for), when I see an actual catalog it still feels all new. I'm a sucker for spoilers, I guess.
I'm with you!!! I want to peak but I know I'll be happier if I can hold out. Kinda like finding your Christmas presents from Santa; you love it at the moment but you don't enjoy Christmas morning as much!!! But I sure wish the catalogs hurry up so we won't be tempted!
I guess I can see that the demos want to know so they can start making plans for stamp camps, promotions or whatever. I just remember the first time my friend(who dragged me to my first stamp camp and got me hooked) and I perused a new catalog and how much fun it was to look at all the new stuff.

The last couple of releases I have peeked. This time I am trying not to and so far so good. I am also tearing apart and reorganizing my stamping room so that helps to keep my mind off of waiting for my preorder to arrive!

*chuckle*
I never bother looking at sneak peeks either for the same reason.
I like waiting for new catalogs and cozying up on the couch with a nice appletini and just revelling in all the new stuff . . . knowing I can order anything I fall in love with immediately; patience is not one of my virtues! LOL!

I'm with you, I'll wait until it's in my hot little hands. If there's a thread where people are describing what's in it I might read that, but I refuse to hop from blog to blog (I don't have time for that) and I don't want to see any pictures. I was curious and had to see the new in colors but that's all I want to know until I have the catty.

I have actively looked for photos and it was a bit of a nuisance to pull up blogs that were listed and have them not display or not have photos anyway! I saw a few sets and accessories that were enough to convince me that I will enjoy this catalog and that I still need to hold off on ordering from anyone else for awhile ;). I will have my catalog by next Thursday and I'm looking forward to relaxing with it page by page... over and over again! I get a little deja vu and nostalgic about it as I only got my first new SU catalog one year ago this past February and remember the experience so vividly! I am so looking forward to that book.
You'll never know everything from reading the blogs and stalking the posts. Trust me. Every catalog I'm living in fear that I'm going to not find anything I like. People who post these things seem to have the opposite taste in styles from me. Then I get the catalog and breathe a huge sigh of relief when I find plenty to spend my money on!
