Default Open letter of thanks for Splitcoast and members.

I was just enjoying a leisurely stroll through the gallery on a fine Sunday evening and I just want to say a general thank you to everyone for posting their cards and sharing how they did them. I'm totally smitten with stamping and making cards and every time I view the gallery I'm more and more thrilled that this site is available and that everyone on is so generous to each other. I'm still kind of new at this (about 2-3 years) but I've amassed quite a collection of Stampin Up sets because of all the great things I've viewed on here. I was floundering for the first year not really knowing what to do and trying to CASE mercifully from the catalog. My demo finally told me about this site. Since them, I'm on a few times a day, every day ... always checking for what else I can do with my sets and do things that are out of the box for me. Everyone who has received my cards over the last year has told me how much better my card are and I owe it all to Splitcoast for coming into reality and all of you for posting your cards to the Gallery. I especially enjoy the challenges. They have helped me learn new ways of using color and layouts and it is wonderful. I recently just met a group of card makers. It's a tight-knit group that wants to stay small and meet every week. I am a substitute member as a few regular members are away for the summer. I've introduced them all to the site and some of the things I have learned over the year I've been a member. They were all telling me how clever I was but I had to give credit where credit is due and told them I learned it all from Splitcoast stampers. I even took them to the hostess's computer and showed them the site. I must be doing OK as they have asked me back for a third week. I have 3 words for all of you. Thanks. Thanks. and Thanks!

Very well said, Cindy! That's exactly how I've felt about this site from the very beginning. It's nice to be reminded about that from time to time, so thank YOU for that!

I posted something similar about a month after I joined SCS. I love this place...it's so inspirational and everyone is so supportive of everyone else! That's wonderful!

Well said, Cindy. There are so many generous stampers here - so willing to share ideas and techniques. A special thanks to all the SCS "staff" and the moderators who donate so much of their time.

Amen! How could you have stampers block when there's SCS? :-D

I am ever so grateful, like you, for the ideas and how to's. It takes a lot to orchestrate it all. I am grateful for those behind-the-scenes folks who make it all happen! That is the true spirit and intent of SCS!

I couldn't have said it better, Cindy. I love this site and have learned so much since I joined. I know it takes a lot to run a site like this so thanks to all those that are working so hard to keep it going and working in tip top shape. YOU are the best!!

I couldn't agree more. Before I found SCS I started searching the web for a website with lots of stamping ideas. I knew it had to be out there and when I found SCS I knew immediately this is what I was looking for...but bigger and better than I could have ever imagined!!
