Default Our Walmart is out of stamping supplies

I have often headed to Walmart for inks, embellishments, vellums, kids stamps, but now they have nothing in that section. The last trip, I tried two different stores and they had all the inks and stamps reduced so that was a clue.

Is that true in the US as well? (I am in canada)

Thanks,
Heather

Ours in town seems to have "revamped" but still has lots in it. Even some new stuff.

I live in a very remote location (as in there is nowhere here to purchase supplies.......it's all mail order and internet shopping for me!!), but often send friends or family on the hunt for me, and Walmart always has at least embellishments and mulberry paper that is very inexpensive!! I'd be tempted to boycott them!

Since I go to WalMart for misc household necessities, I always check out the craft area. Last week I couldn't find anything "stamping" related other than cardstock. I didn't see any of it on sale either. Bummer.

Our Wal-Marts are still stocked as usual (although they've not ever had a huge selection, I have picked up an odd item or two there... ) but I'm in western canada & maybe that makes a difference?.

I have noticed a change in our Walmart, as well. They still have stamps, but probably no more than 30 in a special case. However, they have expanded the supplies for scrapbooking to two aisles. Since many of the same supplies are used by cardmakers, I would say it is a net gain for "stuff"....however, they are skimpy on the ink pads and stamps.

I too have noticed a difference but they are actually trying to improve our store. The section on "card making" has actually grown a bit but it seems like it is more cardstock than actual stamping supplies. They do, however, have more scrapbooking supplies!!! Good luck in your search!

our Walmart has grown in stamping supplies. They moved them to another section in order to add all the neat things they did. I also have a Ben Franklin by me so I got a few options for supplies when needed in a hurry.

Last time I looked at our walmart they had taken almost all of the stamping supplies out. They have replaced them with mostly scrapbooking stuff. I thought it was interesting!!!

Thanks for all the replies. Wonder how long before my husband noticed I was gone if I came to Wisconson to your Walmart or the other well stocked ones! :-)

I smell road trip!

I was surprised the other day that the WalMart near me had actually redone and possibly expanded their stamp selection. Not great, but still mor than they had.

A couple of weeks ago one (we have 5 in Colo Spgs), took out all the stamping supplies, rearanged shelves. This week when I was there I saw more scrapbooking supplies, ton's of colored c/s. There was even a Xyron machine there!!! I was quite shocked to see that.
