Palm Springs and Area Stamping Scrapbooking Stores
I will be attending SU's leadership in Palm Springs in early January. Myself and a friend are searching for a few good stamping and scrapbooking stores in the area. We do have a veichle and are very willing to travel - say about an hour or two in any direction! Please share with me some of your favorite stores in the area.
We are traveling from Canada and we are looking to spend some money!! LOL
Thanks so much,
I am currently in the area and have not seen much - but am trying to stay away until maybe after Christmas sales LOL! Hopefully some one who lives here will answer.
I assume this is for demos - which I am not. Any SCS gatherings planned that a non-demo might attend?
There is a scrapbooking store in Palm Desert on Hwy 111 called Wooten's. There is a scrapbook/rubberstamp store called Collective Journey near San Bernardino(West of Palm Springs about 30 miles on the 10 freeway)
Wootens is one of the biggest scrapping stores I have ever been in. Paper galore. Next time we vacation there I will carve out more time to wander their aisles.
Thank you so much ladies. We have been trying to find some stores online that are in the area but haven't had any luck. This is definitley a big help! Like I said before we are willing to drive around a bit to find them so if you have any other ideas please let us know!
FYI,Julie. I went there today. It is called Scrapbook Co. It is actually located in Palm Desert, I think, just across HWy 111 from the mall. It is next to Staples. As the name says, it is primarily scrapbooking - not much in stamps or card samples. They have more scrapbook samples, and lots of cs and stickers. Lots of embellishments as well as a pretty good stock of stencils and accessories for various die cut machines. I did not have a lot of time to look around a lot. I was kind of disappointed as the web site says there are demos on Fridays - but that is the other store.
JoAnn's and Michaels are only a few blocks away. Happy shopping!
