I went to Target earlier today and the scrapbooking aisle was gone!!!!!!!! I almost had a panic attack. Then I went looking for clearance items. All I found (worth buying) was some signo gel pens. I was hoping they had the modular furniture on clearance, so I could add to my desk. No such luck. I ended up asking an associate and she said it was only temporarily eliminated.
Anyone else's Target scrapbook aisle disappear?

yeppers but one of the Target's I live by only moved theirs to the next aisle. and they did have ALOT of empty space with hooks and shelves waiting to be filled with new stuff !
OH NO! I thought they were just clearancing out the older merchandise at my store. I didnt think to ask anyone. The section was very bare. Most of what was left, I already own or didn't like. I hope they bring it back soon.
They did the exact same thing last time they got rid of everything and got new things in. I got a few clearanced items, and am anxiously awaiting the new goodies!

I travel a lot for my job and I have noticed the trend in Target stores in GA, VA, WI, OH, and MI.
Mrs. Hawkins, I am a native Daytonian. Last time I was home I noticed that all the Meijer stores had really downsized their scapping/papercrafting department too. Whats up with that?

I was really hoping to snag some desk pieces on clearance, again, but all I ended up with was a 3 pack of Signo Uni-ball pens (white, silver, and gold) for $2. They had half an empty aisle a few down, so I guess that's where it'll be relocating to.

My Target does have a few of the white desk pieces on clearance, the glass two-shelf door piece and the rounded corner type of shelf as well as the wheels to attach to the bottom of the pieces to make them roll. Every thing else for the craft desk was regular price, and of course they were out of the one item I wanted (the shelving to complete the desk!) A lot of the scrapbook stuff was on clearance, too.

I almost had a heart attach when I went down my scrappin isle at my Target 2 days ago... EMPTY! Lots of little Clearance tags over empty hangers. Hopefully they will be filling it up soon. Primas? One can hope!

My Target had the cubes with the glass front doors at my Target..and most of the scrapbooking stuff was pretty much worked over! I can hardly wait to see what new stuff is coming in!
I had to buy a gluestick and went to Target - the only one I could find was
in their scrapbooking section - which had hardly anything in it. Hope they
will be making it bigger and better.
I was in Target for a few minutes tonight on my break but I only saw they had some new card making stuff. It was a terrible awful crazy night at work so I couldn't stop and look as I was the only counselor on tonight.
Yes they are revamping a lot of their stores right now. I was told that it will be back just that they would rather get rid of what is there rather than move it I guess.
I asked specifically about the cubes and she said they have been a hot item and she would not think they would get rid of them....we'll see!

Ours has lots of clearance, too. I even picked up a jar of Primas. And when I looked at the Primas bottle, I saw that it was "distributed for Target" or some wording like that. THat would make me think that Target is not phasing out this section. I can't wait to see what gets added!
Aah, they were pretty much cleaned out at my Target too--I was looking for the cubes as well. BUT--I got Scotch glue sticks in 2-packs for $.48 apiece! I normally don't use the glue stick, but a demo from Ranger ink swears by them for covering chipboard, etc., and says they always stick--unlike the ones I first bought when I was beginning that let loose of everything almost immediately. And they're so easy to use for chipboard, that I keep them exclusively for that. And at those prices, you don't mind loaning them out to people who forget their adhesive.
