When I first started doing SU rubber stamping, I bought those multicolor packs of paper, mostly so I could have all the colors to choose from. As I have used up some colors and bought single-color packs, I have found MAJOR color differences. So much so that they don't even seem to be the same color! The biggest differences have been in Almost Amethyst, Blush Blossom, Orchid Opulence, Sage Shadow, Garden Green, and Old Olive. My original AA and BB were PALE--very little color at all, the OO was lighter and very pink, and the greens have gone all over the board.
I know that some of the colors had their formulas tightened up with this year's color changes, but these were all ones that didn't fall in that category.
I can't help you other than I had the same problem with the Soft Subtles colors from one assorted pack to a new assorted pack about 6 months ago. I just try to keep them separate so I don't blend the two different shades on one card, or I guess that could be a good thing if you collage!!
I've had the same problem. I think I have 3 different shades of bliss blue! almost amethyst is by far the worse. My demo said that the colors are meant to coordinate not match exactly but I still find it irritating, esp. if there's a shade I really like.

from what my upline told me...
Our paper comes from different distributors. So, our colors can be off. Usuallly it is just a little bit in shade, and sometimes it is a lot. Other times the paper is a perfect match. It has to do with formulation ( is that a word) and some manufacturers don't get it quite right. I could be completely wrong on this, and if I am someone correct me, but this is what I was told. It makes sense too. I am anal rententive about my paper and hate when it doesn't match!!!!! So, I know what you mean.
I say, considering how much SU charges for their paper, they'd better get it right! Other paper companies don't have this problem and that bit about the colors "coordinating, not matching" is a load of bull, IMHO!! I was considering investing in a lot of SU paper, but now I'm having second thoughts.
I have to say that some of my colors are different over the years. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen. That's why I now buy one color at a time so I have a lot of it all exactly the same.
