I just ordered this thru my Demo. Now I'm wondering if it is worth getting? What cool things can you do with the paper piecing punch other than make those cool borders or tags? I am wondering if I should have gotten the slit punch instead?

I want to get one of those! I just dont want to spend the money now, but I think you can use it for hleping to layer some of the words you put on the cards, I use my scrap to help with layering, I think this punch would be a big help layering your text
Being a demo myself I personally would get the paper piecing punch over the slit punch .
I have the slit punch and don't do a whole lot with it and I just ordered the Paper Piecing Punch with already alot of ideas in mind.
I guess its a personal preference though.
The paper piecing punch is my fvorite punch. I love it in varied colours under vellum stamped with Wonderful Words. Siimple card that everyone loves. It is great for colour blocking on your cards or scrapbook pages. You can use it with brads or eyelets to join ribbon or fibres on opposite sides of a card. You can make nice borders or add it to tags for some nice effects. I also have used it to piece together stamped images I have done. works well with the long border type stamps.
I (the ever frugal stamper/scrapper LOL) cheated and mounted scraps of rubber from trimming Shapes & Shadows to make my own faux Paper Piecing punch stamp. I have cards made with it in my gallery.
I have both of the punches you are referring to. I have not used the slit yet, however, I love the paper peicing one. I just used it tonight while I was playing.
I personally can't wait to get either one! I love the way you can paper-pierce multiple colors of cardstock and then mix the colors up to fit your color scheme.
