Question Paper Pretties shipping

I am just curious for thoes of you who are getting the Paper Pretties boxes monthly, do you think they are worth it? I was interested since they have new "My favorite things" stamps, but when I checked their site right now I saw that shipping to the US is 13 dollars. That is 65% of the price of the mini box. WOWZA is it just me that is totally turned off by this??? I would love to hear from thoes of you who are getting these.

TIA

It costs that much to ship in Canada - it is much more than the US. It cost me $7 to send 1 nail polish

OMG really? Jeeze...maybe someone needs to come up with a similar concept in the US so that there could be a reasonable shipping price.

I'll tell you what...I totally think that the cost of shipping in this case is worth it! And, When I recevied my box...the shipping on the box was the shipping I was charged. She isn't making money on the shipping. Christie is the most wonderful person and does an AMAZING job of coordinating and putting together our boxes. She has a fun website for us (members) and is always thinking ahead and is soooo on her toes. Even if there was a US company, I would stick with Paper Pretties!

Yup, I have only heard good things about PP I was just really curious on the shipping. When it was clarified that it was only 8 dollars and not 13, that made a bit more sense, lol. I do understand the whole "packaging etc" aspect of the shipping costs and now realize how expensive it is to mail from Canada. I guess it just still seems a little high for me...but that is just my opinion. Not that I think it's unreasonable, obviously it isn't but just steep for me. THanks for in input everyone!

I feel it is worth every penny! The boxes are great and Christie has setup a great website for members to share photos, she posts a "Card of the Week" using our stamp for the month, and has special shopping offers for us. In addition, I'm impressed with the personal service that Christie gives us. I get both the Bella box and MFT and Christie just combines the 2 so I save on the cost of shipping - which is just more incentive to get both boxes!!!
