Question Paper Trey Ink butterfly kisses set...

Does anyone else have this set yet? I have a question...I am loving all of these stamps, but my solid image butterfly has a spot in the center of one of the left wings that won't stamp on paper no matter how hard I press. I can see through the acrylic block and it just never touches the paper no matter how hard I push on it. This is my fist experience with Acrylic stamps, so I'm not sure if it's something I am doing wrong. Any suggestions?????

TIA
Cori

I would contact the company if I was you; this isn't the norm with any of my acrylic stamps. Putting down some padding (either a pad of paper, a mouse pad, or a sheet of fun foam) under the surface you're stamping might help, but it sounds to me more like a small manufacturing issue that arises every so often. I've had the same issue in my rubber stamps too from time to time; don't learn to live with it, instead, contact the company and they should have a way to resolve the problem for you.

Default solid butterfly

A member of my design team let me know that your dilemma had been posted, and I thought I would address it directly to avoid any confusion! First of all, let me apologize for your issue! Hopefully I can help! If this were happening to me, these are the steps I would take...

-Check the surface you have your cardstock on. I know this sounds so silly, but even the slightest divot in you table top can cause the result you are describing.

-Try adhering the stamp to the other side of your block. It wouldn't hurt to try and see if it is a little more "level".

-Wash your stamp under hot water and "massage" it. Dab dry with something that won't leave lint behind ( I actually prefer to let mine air dry).

-If the above three "trouble-shooting" methods don't work, send a quick email over to Julie through our customer service address. We will be more than happy to replace the single image for you!

I hope that you enjoy your set! Here's to beautiful butterfly creations in your future!

The above message is why i totally love this company already. Personal service just through word of mouth. I hope they don't lose that interaction once their product line increases. But.....I'm hooked regardless. haha

Talk about service! This is why it pays to buy from vendors that support SCS!

Got my stamps from them today and I could not be more thrilled. Having so much with those pliable ribbon stamps. Have already come up with some very cool options!
