I love the sneak peek we got on Papertrey's Santa! I'm not a huge Santa fan (I mean I love him personally, but usually don't care for the images -- got watch what I say about the big guy!), but this one, with images to put in his hand is so cute!!

I so agree with you about Santa images, Joan. But the PTI Santa is absolutely perfect! I love the clean lines and his accessories!
I am not a Santa fan, but I love her coloring. Who needs those Copics anyway? LOL! I buy the white Sharpies in packages of 6 at Walmart and they are wonderful on dark paper.
What happens if you order from Paper Trey and they run out of something? Can you end up waiting a long time for your order? If you ask them to send what is in stock do you then lose your $40 free shipping if they have to send 2 shipments? I ask because my friend says she has always had backorders every time with them. I am not a patient person and I have to have my Christmas stamps by Sept. 22 since that is our annual stamp club day to make all our cards for this year. I devote one entire day and if they are not made by that night, then there are no Christmas cards from this house.

This information is posted right on her website. You will not lose free shipping and your order won't ship until it is complete, I believe. Why don't you ask your friend -if it happens to her all the time she must be in the know.
If you need/want it that bad, be sure to get your order in early.

Their policy says "***PLEASE NOTE: Your order will not ship until all ordered items are in stock". Ifyou want them to ship anyway and what is IN stock is more than $40 worth of product then you wouldn't. If they have to ship to you twice then yes my *guess* is that you would be charged. If you want a definitive answer, ask Papertrey. Taken from the site:

You cannot combine backorders and instock orders to get free shipping.

Weren't you the one who criticized Nichole yesterday and said you were going to buy from Cat's Pajama's? You've changed your mind?

We're all really puzzled by your receiving Adorable as the free set, when all the CTMH consultants said they would be small booking sets. Guess we'll all know for sure when those of us who won receive ours.

My post wasn't angry... just curious. You started a thread yesterday complaining about Papertrey and never responded to any of it later on. And you did say you were going to buy from Cat's Pajama's instead.
As for the set... you may want to go back and read the original thread. Many of us here asked you to post pics of your set... since not one of us have received ours yet and when we do it should only be a 4 piece set. Could be a misunderstanding... but you might want to clear it up.

Wow, that's really impressive that you can see her steaming right through the computer. You complained that the stamps were small and you were going with the Cat's Pajamas. It's little digs like that and the who needs copics comments that make people question your motives for saying something.
As for your CTMH set, you posted that you got a full sized 14 piece set in 5 days when according to all the CTMH girls they are sending out 4 piece booking sets and the website says 4-6 weeks. So were were all asking, on that thread if maybe you had forgotten you ordered something and how you were going to be surprised b/c it seemed like you hadn't gotten your free set yet and actually had something else coming. But you seem to be getting awful defensive about your free stamp set :rolleyes:

Does this mean I cannot still buy from Paper Trey at a later date? Ladies, these are just stamps, not our first born children. We can buy from as many companies as we want? Untrue?
And as for my free set, what would you have me do because I got mine earlier than yours and because it is not the set you think you will get? What do you want my response to be? Should I not stamp with it until you get your set and make sure it is the same set so you don't feel slighted?

So, I'm *loving* the new PaperTrey Santa! I'm more of a Father Christmas kinda gal, so this might be the Santa set for me. I wonder what Santa delivers to trolls for Christmas???

No, it doesn't. That's what we were trying to tell you. Just because you weren't liking what you saw on the sneak peek didn't mean you wouldn't like the sets. We were cautioning you not to rush to judgement. I think most of us were also saying that the smaller sets were in response to some requests for them. So although YOU weren't pleased with the idea of a smaller set there were others who were. As you know, we just can't expect to have all of our needs met all of the time.
And it does seem that you are a little defensive about your CTMH set. They are just stamps, I don't think any of us feel *slighted* that you supposedly got your free set first or that it's not the set we're getting. CTMH has said the free set is a booking set. So, we were just saying you must have ordered the Adorable set and forgotten about it. We were actually (or I was anyway) that you would probably be excited to know that it seemed you still had a set coming, the free booking set. We were trying to be nice, you should try it sometime.

Buy from whomever you choose... but don't start a post that more or less criticizes the company and state you're going to buy from someone else. And why not reply in the original thread?
Stamp with your "free" set to your hearts content... whatever that set may be. :rolleyes:
Actually, I like this Santa because he looks more like Father Christmas than Santa. I dunno, seems a pretty good size to me. I do know that Cat's Pajamas images are not this large. ;)
I am real curious about these sets. I had said I would not buy anymore Christmas sets (ya right!) but I need sayings for the inside of my cards. I wonder more about the sayings. But the Santa is cute. And I love the idea that you don't have to do masking to make it look like he is holding something. And super easy to color - love that!

That santa is so freaking cool! I don't even -like- Christmas sets most of the time and I already am lusting to have that set in my hot little hands. You can bet anything against where I am going to be at Friday come midnight....glued to my screen, hand hovering over the mouse....ready to click ADD TO CART!

And not once have YOU come through with anything other than big, obnoxious words which don't mean anything on the internet quite frankly. So far in your very few posts all you have done is bash Papertrey and "fabricate" a story in which you got "FREE" stamps nobody else has had the privilege of receiving. All we asked for is pics... and as of yet we haven't seen any posted.
I would personally like to apologize to Joan for trashing her thread... not my original intention believe me. I absolutely love the new Santa... AND Papertrey.
