Default Pearl EX

My friend brought over Pearl EX & Future floor wax because she'd played with them at our demo's house and had to have them. (Keep in mind that by the time the stuff came in, it had been awhile since she used it!) We put the wax in our aquapainters & tried painting it in to color in a black stamped image (the big flower from Flower Garden) on white CS, but I guess we weren't very good, because I wasn't impressed. The colors are really vibrant & pretty, but I thought watercoloring would look more natural. We then stamped the flower in white craft on black CS & tried the same thing, but it really bled & didn't look good. What are you supposed to do with this stuff? Is it just for accents? I saw a card at Gallery at Splitcoaststampers that said she used it with white craft ink...do you just pour it on like glitter? My friend gave me little baggies of all 18 colors...help me figure out how to use them! They're such pretty colors!!

Thanks,
Leslie

Thank you!!!!! I looked in the resources section (listed at the top of the page) and looked for the resources section of the forums, but only found Stamping 101 and Techniques & Temlates (where I didn't find anything in the few topics listed there). I was in the list of the sub-forum called "General Discussions (for everyone)"... Forums at Splitcoaststampers . I thought that was all we had left of the forums! Now I've found the comprehensive list of all the other categories!! Thanks!!!!

Leslie, who shouda done a search!!

Default Pearl ex and floor wax

I would only use these products together as a backgound paper. As soon as you applied heat the polish would melt/blead and obliterate the effect you wanted to achieve.
