Pearl Ex shimmer spray - what colors?

I was going to make some more Pearl Ex shimmer spray today and was wondering what colors of Pearl Ex everyone liked to use. Hoping you can all help me out!

My fav is the pearl. It just adds a shiney shimmer that I love ;)

I've also got a spray bottle of silver and used it on gray paper.

I make it by using one of those empty spray bottles you can buy in the travel section of wal-mart. I used 2/3 hairspray and 1/3 rubbing alcohol and then added about 1/8 teaspoon of pearl ex. I also put a few plastic beads in the bottle to help mix it up.

To use I place my paper on the concrete basement floor near the drain (I don't mind if it gets sparkley!) and spray the sprayer into the air so that the mixture falls onto the paper.

I've got a snow book in my gallery that I used this on. BUT since I used the pearl it just looks all sparkley and you can't tell it in the scan :(

I use 1/4 tsp of PE and fill up the travel sprayer bottle with alcohol. If you add too much PE, it rubs off.

My MIL recently mixed PE with future floor wax, and she said the PE doesn't rub off!

for colors....I've done silver and gold. I do want to do one with the white to make "shimmery white cs".

if you add some hair spray, it won't rub off. it doesn't have to be that much, just enough to give it some binding ability.

I have gold pearlex but have put off getting any others since I just got a whole bunch of twinkling h20s. if I were to get more pearl ex, I'd probably go for silver before any of the colors.

When I tried this my spray thing would not work... I used salon selectives travel hairspray... what do you use?

I just did this at a stamp camp I had. I just used water and it worked great!

I used the silver on night of navy cardstock it turned out awesome.

The cheapest I could find I don't remember but likely it was either White Rain or Rave. I may have even bought a wal-mart brand generic.
