Default personalised stamps

I need OPINIONS re: personalised stamps from SU!

I bought one last year - the contemporary one-line but THE PRINT IS TOO SMALL. I'm very disappointed in it. Has anyone bought these from this year' catty? Are they improved ie. bigger printing? It looks bigger in the pic's, but I thought it was fairly big printing in last years.

OK, fire away. What's your opinion? (I know this topic has been discussed before, but my search (probably done wrong) only came up with "personalised" and "stamps", not the combo of the two.)

I got the playful confetti (is that the real name of it) address stamp yesterday, and the type is the same as pictured in the catalog. I really like it! I got a good clean image when I did a test run. The only think I cannot stand is the stench of the rubber on those!

Rita, try spelling personalized with a 'z' rather than an 's' -- using the American spelling might turn up more results for your search!

jbalcer, I am cracking up over here. I torture my hubby with my stinky personalized stamp. My cats wont even go near it.

my office used to be *in* the dr's office, and not in a completely different building like it is now. There were all kinds of funktastic smells going on in there, those did not bother me half as much as the rubber from those stamps! And forget cooping them up in their little packages. The smell intensifies!

Thanks. I just looked it up in my Oxford dictionary. It is spelled with a "z". Our catalog(ue) has it spelled with an "s" so I went with that spelling thinking you guys spelled it that way.

I'm glad to hear that they are improved. My upline bought one for me last year when I made my Stampin' Start so that I could stamp my stamps with my name. You can't even read my name it's so bad...I'm going to have to purchase a new one now!

I'm hoping that the typeface is bigger than in last year's catty. I told my grandmother I was going to order one for her to use for signing the cards that the little Sunshine Club she started in her apartment complex sends to neighbors who are sick or recently bereaved. I was very disappointed to look them up and see how small the type was. Senior citizens can't read that -- heck, I barely can and I don't even wear glasses!

I'm glad to hear that they look like they do in the catty and have nice clear image. I have a customer who just ordered a 2 line contemp. personalized stamp and I was a bit worried after reading the mixed reviews on the SU! forum about them. But I'm not too worried about the smell lol my customer is a hair stylist, so she's in perm fumes all day, so I don't think she'll mind the smell of the stamp.

Now if the order would just get moving in my direction, I'd be a happy stamper. It's my first new catty order, it took this long just trying to figure out what I wanted to order, then today I check out Split Coast and find things I want to try (keep up the great work!). Oh well I'll just have to place another order soon, horrible I know but it must be done ;)
