I think Roses in Winter can be so versatile (sp?) you can make it very feminine, tone it down and use it for a man, make birthday, thinking of you, thanks, even sympathy cards. I love mine, even though I have Petal Prints too.

This is my favorite set and I use it allllll the time! It is without a doubt the most used set in my collection. Additionally, I have never seen a card that didn't look simply amazing with this set!
Now, I also have Petal Prints, and I like it too, but R-in-W is still my fav....
And as a funny sidenote: I really hated how R-in-W looks in the catty. I looks so boring! I finally changed my mind and bought it after I had a swap where I got a sample done with it. Wow!!!
Good Luck with your decision!

I couldn't possibly choose! I think you can get more "different" looks with Petal Prints because of the two styles of stamps (the more solid print and the sketchy outline), but I love Roses in Winter so much, too! I use them both for making sculpted flowers, and they can both be used with so many color combinations. They are both great "must-have" sets!

Hmmm, that's a hard one. I love both, but would probably choose Petal Prints as it has a bluebonnet, my favorite flower. It is a little more versatile too.

I just can't get enough of the RIW set! Just did my dining room wall with it on Monday, today I made a sympathy card with it, I've done a ton of congratulations wedding cards, thank you cards etc with it.. It can be done in any color and still look beautiful! I just love RIW!
I have both of these sets and while I love Roses in Winter, I think Petal Prints is more versatile. However, the set that I think has both of these beat is Paint Prints --- I couldn't believe that it didn't make the catalog. And yes, I have Paint Prints too -- I love the floral sets!

I will NEVER get rid of my Paint Prints either!!! LOL I just used it yesterday!!!! I was bummed that set didn't make it too!!!! Gotta wonder what the criteria is sometimes!
Roses in Winter today, Petal Prints tomorrow! (or next week!)
Thanks for all your input girls!!
I decided to go with the Roses in Winter. But.....I have another order to be placed in the next couple weeks, so guess what I will be ordering then...Petal Prints!! Like kathleenh said, with a poll like this, it usually talks the stamper into getting both sets...I think she's right!
Thanks again!
