Default Please help me!

Hi Ladies,

One of my friends is throwing a bridal shower for another friend. She asked me to help her with the cards. She found a style she liked, but I can't figure out how to fold this card. Can anyone please help me!?!!! Thanks!

I would fold it and then cut out the sides.

Looks like a heart to me. Cut a heart, fold in flaps, trim in sides??? How's that sound?

Heart thing doesn't work. Had to try it. Maybe if you play with it.

The heart was a really good idea. I've been playing with various ideas all morning. Can't see to figure it out. I appreciate your efforts! ;)

That is a REALLY CUTE card! If you figure out a template, can you post it?

I think I've figured it out... I've got a paper cut-out but now I just need to transfer it to graph paper to make a template. I'll post it as soon as I get that done. (gotta take a break now to get lunch for the gang....)

Oh Edith, you are so wonderful! Thank you all for the suggestions. I still haven't gotten it figured out.

It's a cute card, but won't it be a pain to open?! I think I'd use it as a "sleeve" to hold another piece of CS with the message on it so that it could be pulled out the top.

OK... this is my first try at a template. Let me know if it makes sense. I worked it on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece. Folded, it becomes a 5x8 card (approx.)

You could make the insert card flesh-tone, in the shape of the waist and up, (heart shape), with black lace at the top of the 'bosom'. The heart shape would keep the insert from falling out the bottom. What a great card she picked!
