Please check out operationwritehome.org. The wonderful ladies collect/sort/sned cards overseas for the troops to send back to family members. I've been sending cards there this past year and am sending out a box of Valentines today.
Good luck with your goal and Happy New Year!

The group that I am supporting is a division of this organization called "ladies of liberty." We send out cards and care packages to female soldiers that are active, awaiting deployment and those that are currently deployed. I think it's great that you are doing this. PM me if you want more info.

You might also check your local stamping store. I have one about an hour from me that collects cards for Meals on Wheels. Cards are placed on the trays of the meal recipients to brighten their day. Some other stores may have arrangements with local charities to collect and distribute the cards.
try anysoldier dot com. Just pick a name of someone who's day you want to brighten
Please No Glitter! http://anysoldier.com/

You could also try a local church, retirement home or hospital. I am sure these places would be happy to accept donations of cards and they are in your community.
