Gals ~ I believe this is going to be a definate go sometime in the spring. I think we are just waiting until after the holidays to firm up an actual date and details. I haven't talked to Becky (beclarsen) or Jennifer (otter005) about it in the past month or so but I think it was decided there was more than enough interest to make it work. Becky (I'm pretty sure) was going to check into some sites and see what she could come up as far as location and prices go. Keep checking back and hopefully there will be some updates.
Yippy I'm soooo excited that sooo many SCSr's are going to attend. I'm send a PM and have her look at this thread for the Dec posts.
Would someone be willing to tell me what a SCS get together is? Sorry, but I have never heard of this and since I live in Cincinnati, it would be nice to know. Thanks Sibylle
OOOHHHHH LALA! I am from Huber Heights, just north of Dayton. I would love to come check this out, I have been a demo for a little over a month. This is just what I need to get me going!!

Sibylle- This is just a bunch of SCS ladies who get together to STAMP! We all love being here and "meeting" each other, but it's so fun to actually meet face-to-face! And who would turn down an opportunity to stamp???

Wow!! who new we are all so close!!!! Isnt it nice how are love of stampin brings us all to the same spot!!!! I didnt realize there was anybody else on here from my area!!
I've never posted before although, I am always on this site - tell all my customers about it and then get in trouble because they spend too much time here!! I'm totally up for a Columbus gathering.
Ladies - Yes we are going to do a get together. I just haven't had time to do much planning between the holidays and work. This is our busiest time at work so I'm working my tail off. Don't even have much time for stampin :( :

ok ladies now that the rush of the holidays are over (or almost) i want to put some feelers out for more specifics. I have contacted a few places in the area for the gathering. I have not had a response yet. I was thinking more of mid April. What are people willing to pay? is my biggest question. I guess it all depends on the number of people. I am hopeful that wherever we find they will allow us to do a Pot Luck type thing to keep the cost down. Feel free to respond to this thread or PM or Email [email protected]. I love brainstoming for more ideas!
Ok Columbus. I found this thread, now let's get organized! I would be able to help organize a get together. I live in Dublin and have access to the Rec. Center. I also have a friend who owns a restaurant in Powel. We could possible meet there. If something else is already in the works count me in. Just let me know.

I might be interested in coming too...if the date is okay...and of course I would have to stay overnight because it is a three hour drive. I actually could host one of these in Pittsburgh... but let me know!
Depending on the date, I would love to come! I live just east of Cincinnati. I also know of about 4 others that would probably come (maybe more!).

I would love to come, too, but are we all aware that this thread was started in November of 2004? Is anything still happening, or was it the shoebox swap last March?
This one never happened! Sad, too, cause I was looking forward to it. The Shoebox swap was held in Dayton in March, 1st annual, so look for it next year.
The year is still young so maybe someone will plan another one of these. I wish I could but I may be moving!
Some of you are already aware, but wanted to make sure anyone else who is interested has the info. There is another thread going on regarding getting an SCS gathering organized in Ohio. Check it out.....
Don't have enough time to organize one myself although I had tossed around the idea... Sounds great to me!
