Hmmm.... could be an interesting card... dunno what it is that is making my eyes hurt. I think you get extra points for all the cutting and glueing back together.

Okay, I'll throw my hat in the ring on this one. Although I don't have anything with foil, I do have a gallery full of questionable stuff...decisions, decisions - which one to post??? :confused: It is a toss up between my entire VSN gallery or this one Gallery at Splitcoaststampers (I can't believe this one actually got a comment - thanks SCEmily for being nice!)
This was for a color challenge that was a "12 in 1" challenge. Obviously, by the time I got to number 10, I should have taken a break!! LOL

Alright now vic, the dolphin one isn't even close to being ugly! It's very, very, very blue with some added blue and a dangly gold thing, but ugly it is not!
Okay, now what you did to Lisa, we may have to talk about that. First of all, she does not look good in pink. They say that pink is flattering to all women, but that's simply not true. Then the mustache thing. Lisa already has problems looking a little masculine, then you go give her a tache? How low can you go?:mrgreen: However, cruelty and inappropriateness aside my card's still uglier than yours! Ha ha!!

This card is absolutely NOT ugly! It's old fashioned-there's a difference!! True ugliness is in a league all it's own, a league you are so far not invited to join. Now unless you can show us something really ugly, you have to go to your stamp room and not come out until I call you.;)
Egads! You're in! So much work for so little return.;) At least when I make an ugly card, I do it the lazy way! I don't think you're quite up there with Bluebear and I yet, but can you imagine the evil we could perpetrate on the stamping word if the three of us got together?
YIKES! Some of us crumble under pressure, don't we? I've been thinking about playing in VSN, but can you imagine what I'd come up with if I had a challenge and a time limit? People would be going all Oedipal and gouging their own eyes out when they saw my projects!!
This, while certainly not super attractive isn't truly ugly either. You do have a lot of competeing elements, tho. You have potential. If you had some foil and a challenge, I think you'd be unstoppable!

What a FUN thread for a Saturday morning! OK, first of all, I really don't think your (Stargirl) card is that bad - at least it's got potential for being reused as a layer (maybe a border? lol). But in my books there's a three-way tie going so far, between Brandy's scribble card, Emily's background with no foreground, and Bluebear's tin foil American beauty rose. hmmm...
OK, here's my entry. I think I had just gotten my magic mesh and was a little too eager to use it. Poor Michelle, she must have been nominated to distribute the sympathy votes for that day!! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

IRL it is truly hideous - DH asked for a thank you card for a colleague and this is what he got and he never sent it out!!! But thanks for the encouragement!!!

This oneis the ugliest card I uploaded, but the scan does not show the true horror of this card. It clashes so badly in real life, imagine the roses much more orangey and the red way darker and it still doesn't come anywhere close to how horrid it is! :mrgreen:
I think we have a new contender with Sharlene. Way to go girl....>

Ally, While your card has, how shall I say it, an uncomfortable color combination, it is not in the ranks of the truely ugly.
Doodlepie99, Not even close to the truely ugly, buh bye, try again.
I think JoanB deserves an honorable mention, but I'm sticking with Blubear. Her card haunted me last night as I tried to fall asleep (I would start laughing again everytime I thought about her card and her comment about finally a contest she could win).

I delved into the beginning pags of my gallery and YUCK there are a few nasty ones. This one is REALLY ugly. I was discovering the chalk pastels and obviuosly not very successfully. File this into the what was I thinking category:
you guys are all just so funny, like so many others, I trashed all my worst ones (from the early years and from this year!) but am getting a kick out of this thread. I LOVE the doggie diecut in the "these colors run" card so that one is disqualified. The foil rose is still right up there but there have been a few others that come close. I'm just so glad that I didn't get them for convention swaps!!! ;-) Jan

I think that's a nice card - for a boring person. Someone with little personality!
