I was just browsing the gallery and saw that the demos have their preview sets!!! Gorgeous creations! I am head over heels about the sock puppet. What do you think?
Thanks for posting this. I hadn't noticed, so I'm happy you pointed it out. The new scalloped punch looks great and will most probably be my first purchase from the new catalog. Love the new in colors, too.
The sock monkey is cute, but even at the discounted price it was still too much, IMO.
The preview was really weird this time and there was NOTHING that I couldn't live without. Which is sad because I was looking forward to it a lot. The previous 2 previews I had bought almost everything in them.
Well, I had a peek too but maybe there's something wrong with me... the sock monkey does nothing for me, I could draw that myself only I really wouldn't want to. It may be cute but I want way less cute, more detailed artwork like a couple years ago. I guess the trend has gone away from that,. :(

Wow Flowers reminds me of Flower Factory. Not that they are the same or anything. Flower Factory just popped into my head when I saw the samples in the gallery. I haven't seen the actual set. You just need to know that Flower Factory is one of my favorite all time sets. ;)
I liked the Heard from the Heart set. I'm always looking for more sentiments. I'm liking the dp I saw, too. Still not sure about the new In Colors. I think I have to see them in person before I'm convinced.

None of the set really knocked my socks off but I am excited for the new In Colors and the full catty!!! :-)

Thank you for posting this, I hadn't noticed...and those cards are gorgeous. I am not particularly excited by most of the stamp sets, actually, but the IN COLORS are beautiful (despite most of the people saying they didn't think they'd like them--as usual, once someone makes cards with them they really stand out)

I'm just a hobby demo, and I'm holding out for the catalog. After seeing some blogs with photos of their cruise posted, and all the gorgeous new stamps that will be coming out, I'm definately waiting.
I was slightly disappointed in the preview catalog. The stamp sets were just blah to me. I was dying to see some of the sneak peak pictures we've been seeing all along.
They did unveil some great news. All new stamp sets will be die cut. That's awesome! I like it that the 8.5x11" in color c/s is available in textured style. Will other 8.5x11" be available in textured style? We'll see.
I also think the scallop punch is great, and after seeing a video of a demo demoing it, I'm even more excited, but I just don't need it right now.

I didn't think I would like the new IN colors from what I had already seen but now that the preview is out- I can't wait to have them! Tangerine Tango is gorgeous! None of the stamp sets do anything for me but I am positive there will be plenty of "must haves" for me in the new catty.
The only set that says "have to have" to me is the "Heard from the Heart" set.
I didn't think I would like the new In colors, but they look really nice in the samples.
Very disappointed that most of the peeks were hostess sets, which are too hard for me to earn. The only set that did anything for me was the Serene Scene, a hostess set. I hope the catalog will have better choices. I never did like the sock moneys when my kids were growing up and I don't like them any better now.
I'm going out on a limb here with a prediction......Sock Monkey will be one of those sets that goes for a small fortune on Ebay once it is retired.

I'm excited about the new scallop punch too! Where did you see that video of the demo? I'd love to have a peek.

It would really be great if they are, I was looking at the gallery and I love the bunny in the basket set (not sure what the name was) and the scallop punch will be the first thing I order, I like the set with the window as well. The sock monkey didn't do much for me, but I can understand why others would like it, it is kind of cute and like other stamps I have not liked before when I see someone use it in different ways I usually realize that I would use it and buy it.
There really are very few stamps that are not available in both USA and Canada versions of the catalog. Having said that, lol, why does it always seem that the ones that are not available in the US ones that I MUST HAVE?
I am so glad to say that I absolutely do not like the new in-colors. I am completely obsessed with the current in-colors, and will be so sad to see them go. I feel like I should order five of everything in those colors, but I can't afford to. It really stinks to get so attached, but only have them for 1 year. It snowballs too, because they have incorporated the in-colors into so many of the products such as ribbons, designer papers, etc....... We financially challenged stampers can't afford all of these things. I am even a demonstrator with a discount and can't keep up. I love the new buttons, but there again, they are of the new in-colors. Where were they this past year? Ok, enough complaining.
