Question Printer Ink to dry on Metallic Vellum? - HELP!

I am working on a project for work... I am needing to make a replica of a "Deal or No Deal" Money Board.

I found a matching font and am trying to print Dollar Amounts for the board on a Gold Vellum paper.

I'm going to let them sit awhile and see if the ink dries... right now it is very wet, sitting on the vellum.

Would a heat gun help dry (set) the ink? Just curious...

TIA!

Did you set your printer paper type to transparency? Vellum will not absorb ink, so it will sit on top of the paper wet.

A heat gun may help, just be careful not to burn the vellum. It will curl from the heat.

Do you have any embossing powder? As soon as your sheet comes off the printer, sprinkle the embossing powder on it and heat emboss. The ink will be wet enough to hold the powder.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I ran back to the store and picked up some gold paper that could absorb the printer ink. I really appreciate your creative advice, though!
