We're constantly trying to come up with ways to keep her out of my craft area (which is located in our formal living room- we don't have formal anything in this house!!). It has a fence around it...and that kept her out for a month. Then she figured out she could climb the fence. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm lobbying my husband for half of his office.
Either that or I'm installing LoJack on Grace and setting it to *beep* if she gets anywhere near my stuff.

Yikes! I'm just dreading the time when my two little guys get into my stuff when I'm not looking (one is three and the other will be two the end of this month). I swear, you can be using the bathroom and the next thing you know.....
Well if this is the worst thing she has done and she saw how mad you were than maybe that solved the problem. I'm blessed enough to have a basement and my kids know they don't go down there unless I'm down there so my stuff is little finger free.
Ouch!!! I don't even attempt to get out anything stamp related when my 21 month old is awake, because I know it would end up in disaster! That's also why I don't get to do as much stamping or scrapping as I would like!!
Oh no. Almost makes me happy that there's no kids in my future. Of course there's no telling what the kitties will do once I get around to set up my own space.
*trying so hard not to laugh*

Oh My Gosh! Wow! What a mess. Hey maybe you could make some use out of it though. I once had silver and gold mix by accident and I used it anyway. It turned out really cool. Just a thought.

Toys R Us carries some great spy gear. One of them is a proximity alarm. My 11yo DS loves to leave it around the house to start beeping anytime I get near where he put it. Maybe a couple of those mounted on the door frame would work??!!
Serialpurrs, you don't have to worry nearly so much about cats. Just make sure that any paper you have laying out is on a flat surface and not on top of something, because kitties LOVE to lay on your paper, especially vellum. My cats usually leave my stuff alone when I'm not around. They prefer to get in the way when I'm trying to make something.
Not laughing at you, screaming with you!!!! I have a 4yo Grace too!! She likes to use my stickers (she doesn't want her My Little Pony ones now that she has found my stash) and paper and ink pads and stamps!!! I got an "I'm sorry momma" one day and she had taken her artwork to new levels--the doors, walls, and my craft cupboards! She had also managed to knock out two teeth before she was 4!!! I always say that God gives me grace because He gave me Grace!!! Her horns hold up her halo!!!
(Hijack not intended--thanks for the warning to hide my powders!-she loves glittering things!)

Write your sorrows in sand and your blessings in stone.
And now I remember why I didn't get into stamping until the kids were grown. What a mess! But I think she's just being creative and trying to come up with a new technique.
YIKES!! What is it about kids and stamping supplies? Thanks for sharing your pain with us, and I'll think of this picture everytime I contimplate leaving my stamping supplies out on the table (I also stamp in the dining room)! ;)

And I thought it was bad when my dd dumped an entire bottle of stampin mist on my stampin scrub. At least I could still use it up. Did alot of stampin for about 3 days so I could use it before it dried up. ;)
you are definetly not alone. i left 2 new jars of embossing powder on my kitchen table. i didnt think by 2yr dd would be able to reach, let alone twist open the cap. well, where there's a will there's away. i walked into embossing powder not only all over my table, but in her hair!! she is definetly a stamper in training, lol.
This is a picture of what happens when toddlers go wild.
Yep. I was not a happy camper.
Yep, been there when DD was 3 -- she was "helping me" get ready for a workshop, her "dear" father was supposed to be watching her in the other room, and I had my back turned, of course cutting c/s at the last minute and the only bottle of gold glory embossing powder that I needed for the workshop in a few hours, poof, all over the floor. Talk about a meltdownOn a really ugly pile shag carpet. I feel your pain -- at least you could sweep some into a jar, though I do think the flock is too bad that it messed all that up, it could have been a nice mix.
Yep, EP and toddlers do NOT mix. Thanks for the reminder -- she is 5 now and not into that stuff and I have kind of let my guard down a little -- but I now have a 1 yo boy that might pick up where she left off, LOL --
