A cute Greek alphabet! My sister is in college and I would LOVE to make her some sorority cards, but I can't for the life of me find a Greek Alphabet that looks whimsical and fun...
Neat idea! I never thought of that. I am a math teacher, and we use Greek letters from time to time. Also, I get together with my old sorority sisters once in a blue moon, but using the letters to scrapbook a few pages would be awesome! Thanks for the idea!
I think Monkey Busines should go in! I also want a huge background stamp with thank you written in many different languages ( sent this idea to SU). I also want a set like everyday expressions but bigger stamps.
i totally agree!!
Monke Business should go in the new catalog!!!!
i like your idea for the background stamp (speicallly since iam from Germany and my hubby is from portugal)
i would love to see at least one more boyish stampset.
i was dissapointed that in the 05 catalog is no Truck or train set, no Airplane set, or construction vehicle set. Actually i checked yesterday night what ctmh offers even though iam hooked on su!
I would like to also see more nice detailed stamps like the John Deere and the western set Wild, Wild West and the native American set. Those are nice quality stamps that you would use for a mans card or express your love for this country. I love all the sets in the 2002/03 catalog. They are so beautiful. To me this was the best year. But I am sure that the catalogs are already at the printers. Maybe they could take note and put these in the following year.

I like the idea of them coming up with anything, that relates to education. How about if they get the ok to make stamps that replicate the really popular children's books... (can you imagine how popular the VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR would be?) The post office is always out of the new children's book stamps..
Madeline. Postman Pig, Lowley Worm, (All of Richard Scary), etc....;-)

I would also like to see some different kinds of inks.Like ranger ink pads and refill bottles.so we can try techniques like those from PAT hUNTOONS TECHNIQUE JUNKIE NEWSLETTER.Without driving anywhere to find them or order them online.it would be nice to get products like these in SU catalog.
More spectrum pad colors like before.
It's too bad they couldn't bring back some of the retired favorites in the mini catalogs.even if it was just for 1 year.they would be exclusive.

I think if they are coming out with those new color inks and cardstock that they need to have the refills and of course markers to go with it.eyelets too.all the matching items.

oh, this will be fun! I have been wanting a stamp set of hardware ( i know this was suggested by another, but I figure if I put it in, too, maybe it'll do some good) like paper clips and safety pins and hinges and things. I want some more realistic stamps verses the cutesy. I would like to purchase old catties that you cant buy anything out of anymore, just to go through and get the ideas or see what someone is talking about when an old stamp set is brought up (ive gone on the splitcoast boards for buying and selling stamps and I wish that you could actually see the sets offered because i just learned about sampinup a year and a half ago and never saw the old sets)
this is my other wish--I wish that you could be a demo without the required sells being so high. I signed up just to do it as a hobby and as soon as my six months were up, I was out. But I knew a lot of others who would have signed up if they could have just bought $50 a month or something. I can see that SU needs their sells to be high, but I think there must be a way to work this out for the many of us who love SU but dont have the time or the inclination to sell it. I wish too that we could sell cards that we make in stores. If we always put the SU logo on them and a phone # or something, I think we could even get more publicity/sells and it would work out being better for SU. Anyway, those are my two cents
oh, and one more thing I would like a whole new color family so they can add new colors in--or maybe just expand the families they have now by three or four colors, sometimes I want a color thats just not there!
I would like to see a BG stamp that looks like a newspaper - headlines and all. Love the idea of the Greek alphabet. I also love the idea of different languages for a BG thank-you stamp, but more on the order of French Script rather than the BG stamps for Christmas et al. I'd like to see the tag punch sold separately. I'd also like to see a larger square punch for layering. I'd also like to say goodbye to the creepy children.
twinkling h20's and a family set like a mom dad big sister little sister big brother little brother set maybe done in crayon style like crayon kids or something or a family set like this made for christmas. watercolor pencils in all 48 colors would be nice also and to be able to purchase stampin spots individually. bigger square and circle punches also.

Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
I would love to see more manly/boy stamps. I am forever trying to find manly type stamps. I know this has already been mentioned. But, I was also thinking....we have eyelets...but we do not have brads in all the colors! I use alot of brads. And also....glitter! We only sell 3 colors. Oh, and definatley a ribbon holder to organize all our ribbons!
not sure if anyone has thought of this yet but I would like yo see su come out with white and a cream colored dye ink.I know of 2 other companies that make them so they can have all of the colors in a dye ink.

I like all your ideas! But the new 2006 07 catty is already done! So lets hope they see what we want!
I would like to see more single words but in a bigger font.
A roller Jumbo with Horses.
Easter set.
Chicken wire BG put back in!
Cindy
how about a stampset with sayings "i love you" in different languages,
like: spanish, french, tiamo (italian), ich liebe dich (german), and maybe another language???

or sayings for journeys in different languages. those could be used for scrapbook pages as well (trips or heritage). this would be a good idea for a summer mini catalog and i know that lot of imigrants here in the us would use too if they had a stamp in their own language.
in germany samping is not popular at all. and one stamp is already super expensive
Personally,I like the cutsey sets. I mainly scrapbook, so those are the sets i'm most likely to buy. I would like to see more of a scrapbooking selection!!!
our timeworn/specialty collection available in bulk of certain papers. At least on a demo order so that we don't have to buy multiple packs for the one design we like and want to use in a camp or make and take
I agree, some of the patterned paper needs to be sold in singal print packages, I had a lady who was doing her wedding invited and she used the green and pink striped from the sassy pack....and she had to make 90+, plus reply, menu, and some other things??? don't remember what, but the poor girl had to order all these packs and had no use for the the orange and other crazy colors in there, so I agree, bulk packs of the same paper for demos would be great, especially if we are doing a huge workshop or something!
Agree with the sampler of ribbon. I love that SUs ribbon is so long, but it will take me forever to use it -- I'd rather have a smaller sample of more colours...
I agree with these choices too, especially the silent setter for those of us with NOT SO UNDERSTANDING HUSBANDS AND FAIMILIES!
All these sound like great ideas but what about something like a medical set? Something with the red cross stamp in it that you could use, maybe a dr. or nurse wearing a stethoscope, a set that you could use if your child was in the hospital or if someone was ill. The only set I saw for illness was that 'you cured yet' set which just doesn't apply to most people.
Something else I've always thought of is more brads and eyelets in different colors, and always more Embossing Powder in different colors - navy, bright red, and green. Now you have to buy them in a set, but it would be nice if they were available separately.
Location: I am a Utah desert rat! I fry in the summer, but, oh, the winters are spectacular!

I hope they have the mini cards and envies!
I'd love a smaller set with "Happy Mother's Day," "Happy Father's Day," "Happy Anniversary," and "Happy Wedding Day." I hate to spend 29.95 for a set when I only want two of the pieces.
I agree with the family set. I 'd even like some wonderful word type stamps with family, mother, father, etc.
I'd like to be able to buy brads for the hodgepodge set. I use the brads for lots of things, and then I go to do a project with a piece of hardware, and I'm out of luck!
I'm excited for the new catty. They always please me with many choices!
How about a First Communion set? My granddaughter had her first communion Sunday, and I had to go to Hallmark (RATS!) and buy a first communion card. I know that's heresy, but I didn't have anything in my collection that was appropriate.
3. More "hand stamped" sentiments (stuff to put on the backs of cards), like, "when email just isn't good enough...", "I cared enough to hand-stamp it!", "if you knew how hard I worked on this card, you'd never throw it away," etc.
I love this idea. Esp the last one.
I'd like to see more of the following:
1. modern female things. Images with modern (porportionate) women talking over coffee, shopping, talking on a cell phone, dressed to impress, chit chatting, celebrating over cake or presents, working on a laptop, etc.
2. More gingham ribbon colors!
3. Sakura glue pen is a must.
4. Poker night set.
5. Slumber party set.
6. Modern yet simple images of people, places, animals, etc.
Oh yeah and a CURE FOR CANCER SET! Ribbon symbol (can be used for so many different symbols), woman with a pink scarf wrapped over her hair, friends walking; make it modern and simple!

But I knew a lot of others who would have signed up if they could have just bought $50 a month or something. I can see that SU needs their sells to be high, but ...
I agree with this. I am going to become a demo once the new catty comes out in July but am a little concerned with getting the $450 CDN per quarter. I'm mainly doing this for myself and a few friends. Maybe it could be cut in half? ...
What else would I love to see ... maybe more idea books, or a magazine that is strictly Stampin' Up. I know this website is awesome, but I love having a book or magazine to look at and I would totally subscribe! I agree with others about a nice sympathy stamp set.
renee I'm with you I love to go back and look at my stampin success magazines.the scrappin magazines that su once put out.And even the inspiration sheets,But to have a su scrapping magazine ooohh yah I think many others would also love to buy that one.Maybe we can do a poll and have people send in thier photo's or upload them each month and they can get a magazine published and market that.I would automatically sign up for a year before even seeing the first issue. How can it not be good.with su.
