This may be a dumb question but I am curious and haven't checked it out myself. Does the Mono Adhesive Refill fit into the Snail Dispensor?? They look the same to me.

Yes. Same thing, different name.

Only diffence is one is black and one is blue. I bought them without knowing if they would fit or not.

yup that is the first thing I tried after I got my starter kit!! The only thing is though, I don't think the "snail" adhesive is as good as the mono!! My snail one doesn't go on very well, and I find myself shoving that dispenser to the back of my drawer all the time and grab the others!!

They do fit each other. Actually, I do believe the SNAIL Adhesive is made by the same people that make Mono Adhesive. They are the exact same product. They just package it differently for Stampin' Up!
