Question about spinner cards ???
I've made a couple of these at my Stamp camp I belonged to and was wondering of the word window punch is suitable for making the slots for the spinner cards??? I don't own a WW punch was thinking about getting it.
I hate using the exacto knife because the cuts don't look clean. Any ideas or other suggestions would be very helpful. TIA...
Yes! A word window punch will work perfectly. I made my first spinner card the other day with a word window punch and it worked perfectly. You can CLICK HERE for a sample of my card.
(By the way, use regular pop-up dimensinals you can buy at the craft store that are circles rather than the hexagonal shape of the SU! dimensionals for a spinner that spins the best.)

Yep like everyone has said that the WW punch does work. I've found that I have to use the punch to trim just a little bit extra off in width so that the dimensionals flow freely when going back and forth.
It's so much easier than the exacto and I think it looks much nicer than the square edged spinners.

I've run into the same thing as scrappintica where I need a little bit of extra width but otherwise it works perfectly! Maybe it is my dimensionals? I thought I saw where someone said to use two (one on top of the other) but I haven't tried it....
The ww punch is a must have!!!
Hmmm, I've always used 2 dimensionals on top of each other between the pennies..........makes it flow really well. Although I'll try the one dimensional just to see the difference and maybe cut down on the use of dimensionals........lol
If you want to avoid the weight of the pennies, try cardstock scraps, and punch them with the 1/2" circle punch!

I was too cheap (and too tired to lug all those coins, lol) to bring 4 pennies for each stamper at the Austin gathering (it was my shoebox swap), so went looking for another way. Cami suggested the cs/punch method, and it worked! So excited by that. . .
