Default Question on SU! Mono

I've read on several threads here that people buy the Tombo refills from Viking. I am a new demo and so far I only have one SU! tape runner. I bought several Tombo refills, but I'm wondering if there's a way to get the refill to transfer without having to throw away the SU! half of the tape runner. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If I use the Tombo refill as is, then I have a half black/half blue tape runner.

I hope I'm making sense and somebody can help me!

With the 2 sets of gears & the way the tape winds thru, I wouldn't try to change the gets to the SU gear works. You can try it - the worst that can happen is that you have to throw away a refill because it gets messed up. The 2-color thing wouldn't bother me but I'm not a SU demo.

I interchange them all the time and haven't ever had a problem. It is half blue/half black, but I don't mind the two-tone look!

They are exactly the same. The snail adhesive is made by the same company - they just put the SU logo on it.

Default I found an awesome price for the mono refill!!!!

Just to let you know, I found a great place to order the mono adhesive! The refills are only $2.57 each for the permanent bond. I usually order a box (6) at a time and it's comes out to under 22.00 incl shipping.
If you are interested in checking it out.. go to :

Hope this helps all you stampers and scrapbookers
