Questions about hobbyist/Regular Demo discount?

What is the discount for a 'hobbyist' demo as compared to a 'regular' demo?

There is no difference. It's 20% either way you go. Forgive me if you already knew this but a hobby demo (me!) is someone who signs up for the discount to buy for herself. A regular demo does it as a business.

no difference...remember, your first hostess order is a 30% discount if done during your first 45 days.

Just to clarify , you mean that as an SU demo I normally get a 20% discount?

Is there any additonal discount added to that as my sales increase?

I do understand that receiving commission on a downline is a different income, I'm just interested in the most I could earn on my sales.

You get 20% off the top, you don't have to even send that to the company, however the more you sell in a month the more you wil make at the end of the month, they will direct deposit in a acount you set up in or around the 10th buiseness day of the following month.
The percentage are as follows

0-$149 -
$150- $249.99 3.5%
250-$499.99 4.0%
500- 749.99 4.5%
750 -999.99 5.0%
It goes up from there but if you are a hobbist I doubt you would spend over a thousand dollars in one month, if you do you desevre to get 6% of that back. It is called a volume rebate. Hope that helps

Yes, you get an instant income of 20% off each order placed for catalog product. (no discount on supply items). As your personal sales increase you get what is called a volume rebate. It could be as an additional 3.5 % for sales of $150-$250 a month to as much as an additional 12% for sales of $10,000 or more. The percentages change as you increase your monthly sales. You also get the different percentages on your downline's sales depending on where your own sales are.

I have also considered becoming a demo but the quarterly sales seemed like a lot to me. I do this as a hobby not for money. I am wondering how do you become a hobby demo? Would my upline still get a kick back if I decided to become a hobby demo? Can I still buy a demo starter kit or is that something that you have to buy? I am just really curious as to how that would all work? Would my upline know all about this? Just Wondering.

Yes, if you have a demo that you work with. She/He should be able to get you the information that you need.

ALL folks, whatever their goals, sign up for the same kit, at the same price. Quarterly sales to remain active are $300 and are required by EVERY demo'r, no matter level, goals, etc. to maintain "active" status.

The only person that receives a "downline override commission" would be the individual you choose to sign up under, who is known as your upline. And, of course, any up to 4 more levels above her would be entitled to a downline override commission off your sales. However, SU! directly compensates the upline(s) with the overrides, NOT you. None of that comes out of your earnings in any way whatsoever.
