Default RE-ADHERING STAMPS

I am a new stamper and I have just purchased a set of alphabets. Unfortunately, I don't like the way I have adhered them to the wood block. Is there anyway to remove them and adhere them again without ruining the stamp? Please help

Put them in the microwave for 8-10 seconds. They should peel right off, you can reposition them and restick them no problem. I have done it a few times after something got mounted crookedly.

I just repositioned mine last night!
I did not know about the microwave.
They had been mounted for about 6 months!!
Only 2 gave me a hard time and the rubber peeled right of the stamp and left the foam....I thought now what. I went very slow and pulled the foam off and then I used double sided tape and stuck the rubber back on.
It worked and I am much happier where I have positioned them.
GOOD LUCK!!!

For small stamps like an alphabet, you may only need 5 - 7 seconds in the microwave. Also, use the hobby blade (ie, Xacto knife) to help peel the foam from the wood, thay way if any of the adhesive comes off the bottom of the foam, you can scrape it off the wood an push it back on the foam for use in re-mounting. Good luck!

i've also used rubber cement when the rubber comes off the foam. this has happened to quite a few of my classic alphabet set.

Just make sure that when you use rubber cement, you apply it to both surfaces and let it get tacky. That will give you a much better bond.
