Default Re-inking Versamark Pads

Does anyone know if this is possible and where a person can get the re-inker for it? Does SU sell one?

Thanks for your help!

Default re-inking versa-mark pads

Yes Su sells the versa-mark reinkers. The reinker is on the same page as the versa-mark pads.

Yes, and yes.

I have reinked mine

It's kinda "thick" compared to other reinkers but it works well

Yes, they do sell it. It is in the back of the catalog with the pad and marker. Item # 102193 and costs $3.95. I have one and it is so worth it! I use it to refill the marker and the embossing ink wheel cartridge.

I LOVE mine-it makes the pad last so much longer.

I have had customers accidentally stamp another color onto it, and once I reink it really helps the image fade.

Default how do you reink?

i think my pad is drying out and needs to be reinked, but i've never reinked a pad. is there anything special i need to know before starting? i figured i'd just squeeze a bunch all around the pad and let it settle. am i right?

yup!
Te VM reinker is thick compared to others, so I squeeze gently and do lines back and forth over the pad oressing a bit harder tahn I normally do.

Default clarification on reinking

thanks! when you say you press harder than you normally do, do you mean the tip of the reinker gets pressed into the pad? does that not damage the pad? sorry for the stupid question, but i'm so stressed about doing this correctly.

thanks again!

yes-usually I do "drops: with the reinker just above the pad, but with VM I actually push it onto the pad itself. Hope that is more clear

It seems to take longer to soak into the pad, but it does eventually.
