You take out the white tips and soak them in the solution, then put one end back in, fill the pens, and put the other tip back in. I filled mine with a small medicine plunger, but I suppose you could just submerge them in the solution to fill them.
After I did mine, they were as good as new, but I don't use them as much as I used to since I got the Aquabrushes!

A friend got a syringe from the pharmacy to fill hers.
She really likes the result of refilling hers.
I find my blender pens are still nice and wet, long after the tips are past their prime. I have decided they are disposable but I do give the old ones to my children and hide the new ones :-) It makes them last longer.

Don't throw them away when they dry out, use to paint on bleach. Works better than a brush. I have had the bristles disappear when I used a brush. I found out too late that you shouldn't use natural bristle or was it synthetic? I forget because I didn't try again with a brush.

You can buy replacement tips for blender pens at Michaels. I'm too frugal to discard anything if I can get more life out of it!
