Default Reindeer Thumbprint Card

about 1-2 Christmases ago there was a reindeer thumprint card in a stamping magazine (sorry, don't remember which one). Did anyone see this or have a copy of the magazine? I can't find my copy and I'd like to see how they did the reindeers. I've searched the web and can only find dorky looking reindeer.

I don't have a copy but my friend did this last year

She made each family member stick their thumb in brown ink and put it down - she used a mini red brad for the noses and the Reindeer antlers from last years retired Holiday mini set...

She had each thumb reindeer on it's own rectangle with the name printed below (I guess she printed out the names on cardstock before and had them put thier thumb print above thier names) - she matted each rectangle and then put them in a row on her card (4 of them) I believe she sent the card base through her computer and had printed on the bottom "Happy Holidays from the whole herd"

I did these for my Christmas cards last year. I used the SU! square punches to do our thumb prints on. DH, DS & I each put our thumb in brown ink and then "stamped" our thumbprint on a white square. I used the larger square punch in red (I think!) to back the white one. I used red glitter for the nose and then just drew on the antlers. I can't remember if I put each name on the squares or not. It seems like I did the card in real red and rolled the star & swirl in red for the background. I then did the squares and attached to a strip of black. I stamped a greeting (not sure what - one of the SU! Christmas ones) at the bottom.
HTH!

I have that issue of Paper Crafts right here, but my scanner isn't working :(. I did an online search and it's not on PC's website, but someone on Two Peas did something similar (though with only one fingerprint) -- http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.a...yout_id=242574.

I think SleepyinSeattle posted a card like this last year. At least, I remember her showing it to me. Check her gallery..you might find it. Otherwise, it's in the Stamp It mag from Winter 2004, page 36.

The reindeer thumb idea is *adorable*!!! Though not original, I just might do that this year for our Holiday cards! Thanks for sharing here even if you posted looking for the article.
