Default Rhonna Farrer at Target

My Target had been slashing prices on their scrapbooking section last week - so I went in today to check out if anything was left.
Not much - but they have Rhonna Ferrer clear stamps (alpha/swirl/flowers). Also paper packets, mat packs, brads, oh my!!!
Also - you have to check out the Marcella items that are new. There is a new line called Bungalow that is oranges/greens/yellows & would look so good with so many of the SU Spring mini stamp sets.
You've been warned!!! LOL

Thanks for sharing! I notice that you are from Kentucky too! You must be in Lexington or on over west though to have "Target access"!

Default Target

My best friend has been stalking the Rhonda line for weeks now. We only have the alphabet and the flowers so far. Most of Targets don't even have the slots for the acryllic stamp sets. Quite the bummer! The ones we have at our stores are like DOODLE sets. There is also 6x6 decorative with adhesive back. Those have a great variety.

Oh how I wanted those alpha a doodle sets! We have 3 different ones at our Target, I think the other is flowers and stuff? And on the back of the package they show one with birds. Too cute!

Oh my gosh! I went to Target today and my eyes were bugging out. PRIMAS, HUGE PRIMAS. Solid primas. Polka dotted primas. Little primas. Beautiful PRIMAS. And tons of new Making Memories and Marcella stuff. And the Rhonna Farrer clear stamp sets. And Rhonna Farrer ...get this...SELF ADHESIVE 4x6 mat packs. I wanted to buy everything!

So sorry. Correction: not Rhonna Farrer mat packs. It's Autumn Leaves mat packs.

The adhesive mats do say Rhonna Farrer as well as Autumn Leaves. I used 2 of them this week to make quick cards (they're in my gallery). They're great! I got the Scribbles collection: Cool Caribbean, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Certainly Celery -- they all match pretty closely. Love the convenience! The adhesive is definitely strong enough to hold!

I wonder if our Target will be getting any of the new stuff? I have not really noticed much in there, but I am not there often so I will have to look around more the next time I go.

Ohhh, I have to get to my Target to see if they have PRIMAS! Last I was there the entire scrapbook section was gone! Nothing but empty hooks with little *40% off* tags hanging off them. Maybe tomorrow...

I went to the Target by me yesterday and they had the Rhonna Farrer Scribbles Alphabet set. I bought them right away for fear they would be all gone if I waited to get them. Our Target has a cardmaking aisle and a scrapbooking aisle. I was pleasantly surprised to see it.

I noticed the Target near me in NH was clearing out the scrapbooking aisle. I'm hoping that means it'll get all the neat stuff like stamps! They didn't have any stamping items, mostly paper packs and stickers, etc. Now I'll have to go check it out!

Thanks for the alert!

Our Target is evidently in another universe on this... no big clearance, no changeover, no Rhonna Farrar or primas :-(. Saves me some money, but I sure would love to see what some of you are mentioning at my store!!

Don't give up hope!!! If your store has a scrapbooking/cardmaking aisle, you will get them - maybe just not right now. I had a conversation with a Target employee & she told me some interesting things.

I'm in the same boat as you Laurie. I need to go there sometime this weekend, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will have "revamped" the section. I'm looking for the large Primas.

Terry, Prima's are paper flowers that many here on SCS use as embellishments on cards and such. They come in many different sizes, colors and styles.
Here's a place that was saved in my "favorites" for the Prima's. I don't think I have ordered from them though, but at least you get a visual.

Whee! I purchased Got Flowers! Primas at my Target today. Got five bottles of them for $6.99 each. Not bad. Tres chic! Also got a couple of the new Rhonda Farrer sets. I'm excited to try them out!

We have 8 Targets with in like 12 miles of our house and I'm not exaggerating either! We have 2 Targets that are less then 2.5 miles from each other, both along the same major road! Go figure! They have all been clearancing everything in that section but they have yet to put anything new and fun out until today. I've been hopping around to them and finally one of them had some new paper packs and stickers and they did have a Rhonna Farrer clear stamp alpha set. But sadly no Primas. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to a few more!

Default not at all impressed...

with the new section at my target. the only making memories items i saw was a pack of metallic eyelets! oh wait...and 2 different packs of fibers that you only get a yard each of!! their selection of adhesives didn't impress me at all. i only saw 2 different kinds of brads...stars and flowers. the note cards...i think they went a bit overboard with. i do like the big spools of ribbon but you don't get much and it doesn't match su colors (not that i expected it to!) they sell the paper trimmer like we sell in our cattie but refill blades for a different one that they don't even sell!!! the alterables are ok...was thinking of doing a letter for my daughter and grandson. but as far as embellishments....they could have done better. i know everyone is going crazy about the primas but i don't like them and i don't think our target has sold a one yet!!! i don't even think they have anything i would get even if i was in a pinch!!! and they are only blocks from my house. i think i'd rather go to micheals.

Those Autumn Leaves alphas (scribble alpha) OMG SO CUTE!!! I bought the alpha at Target and had to buy the numbers and extras at the LSS because Target only had the alpha. And let me tell ya, they were selling the alpha REALLY CHEAP at Target compared to the LSS. So ladies, buy yours at Target if you get the chance and want them!

I have never seen these before! Does Michaels or AC Moore carry these stamps? Love to be able to use a coupon on them! I was so wanting Doodle this and that from SU. I love the look of "doodling"!

Oh yes! The Target prices for the RF clear stamps are way better than Michael's or AC Moore (like half the price!).

:-) Woo hoo!

Does anyone's Target have the "bird" RF set? I really want that one! My Target had the flourishes set, the flower set and the alpha set. I'd LOVE to work a trade if anyone would be able to get me the bird set... I could pick up one of the others. THANKS...

It always amazes me how different stores can be in the same chain! At my store, while we do have some of the "new" stuff, it's not "all that" ... it's one SMALL aisle! I know, that's better than nothing, but I always wonder why they don't have a bigger section!

I had to check out our Target today after seeing this post. ;) I found the paper packs from Autumn Leaves. They are amazing. And they are adhesive backed. I bought three packs. Each pad has five different designs, sized just right for cardmaking. The best part is when using the Cuttlebug sometimes it's hard to get paper to stick, but this adhesive backed paper sticks so well. Plus the bonus is you can use the backing from the adhesive with the embossing on it separately.

Thank you so much for posting this! Mum and I went into our Walmart yesterday and I got the Swirls set (~8.50) I've been coveting for months, and Mum got the scribble alpha (~11.50) and matching numbers (not sure how much). Waaay cheaper than the regular 16-18 bucks they usually are, and even cheaper than the value packs in the Oriental Trading catalogue. They are the exact same stamp sets, except instead of being in a hard clamshell case they are in a cello bag. Our Walmart also had a baby set, the flowers set, and the set with all the phrases like "natural beauty" etc.
