I have and love both, but I have much more fun playing with Roses in Winter. I especially love the effect you can get by spritzing the paper with water, then stamping on it! You really can't go wrong with either set, though!
I always go into the gallery and look at all the cards, for instance Watercolor Garden and then I look at the rose cards and then I make my decision on the different ways you can use the stamps, which one has more versitility.
When you spritz the cardstock first, then stamp, the ink runs and REALLY looks like watercolor...especially gorgeous when you start layering the colors. SU! recommends confetti white and white shimmer cardstock, as these don't buckle too much when wet. I just did a mini composition book cover using Roses in Winter on white shimmer cs...so pretty! Can't scan it right now, but will when I get the chance.
Watercolor Garden used to be my hands-down favorite, but now I've moved to Watercolor Garden II as my favorite! Have you considered that one? I absolutely love it. I also like Roses in Winter, but find it more limited to making elegant feminine cards, while the Watercolor Gardens are more casual and fun.
Watercolor Garden 11 is really nice too! Now I'm really torn. If I had enough money I'd buy both. :(

I have them both, and like them both. But if someone came up to me and said I have too many stamps and one would be taken away(ooooo the horror of it all) I'd keep the Roses in Winter.

I like them both and have them both but if I were to chose between the two I would go with "Roses In Winter". I never get sick of that set. It is so beautiful. Carol
I have all three sets mentioned and I love all three of them. If I had to choose just one, I would vote for Roses in Winter. The sayings that go along with it are lovely too. You really can't go wrong with either of the three.
A customer accidentally ordered WCG back when I was new so I didn't realize I could have exchanged it. I figured I was stuck with it. I tried to like it, but alas never did. I had to trade it and was happy I got it off my hands!
