Default RSVP Pens

Ok, I've read a lot about how to make them on this website. Thanks so much! Couple questions though: 1) I read SU has sticker paper but I can't find it. Do we still carry it? Or was it something in the old catalog? 2) Has anyone used the stick tape we carry to put the beads on?? It seems to me it would be a lot of strips to add, which would be good since it's SU but could be difficult too. Suggestions?? 3) Where's the best deal for sticker paper? 4) Does someone have the measurements for the RSVP pens?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Stampin Up no longer carries sticker paper. I bought mine at Staples. 100 sheets for $20.00.

The red tape SU carries is hard to use on pens. I buy my terrifically tackt tape from hobby lobby for $2.99 for 2 sheets.

You can also use SU designer paper instead of stick paper. I use the 2 way glue pen to make it stick to the outside barrel of the pen. Some ladies roll it up and put it inside the pen.

The measurement I use is 3 1/4 X 1 1/4. That fits exactly around the barrel of the pen.

HTH and have fun!

I made my first pen the other night and it turned out great. I used the SU sticky tape. 5 strips laid from end of the pen to the other fit around the tube perfectly. I just used the same labels I use to put my info on my catalogs, just trimmed to size and squared off. They worked great. My only advice is to use the embossing buddy in your powder pals tray before you pour your beads in. I forgot and they didn't want to go back in the container. Have fun.

If you have a xyron, you can make your own sticker paper for the RSVP pens. I've even printed out images and backgrounds on my computer, added some stamped images and then put the paper through the xyron to use for the beaded pens. However, I do use the red liner (industrial strength) tape for adhering the beads. Just another option. Linda
