thought I would start a post for everyone to list their stores in their area and any good or bad points about them. If you have a website good news too.
Mainly because I will be traveling to the west coast from the east side of washington soon and want to see how many I can hit. lol
The best in my opinion are the Impress store in Tukwila (I like it better than the one in Bellevue) and Make an Impression in Issaquah. Both are great WA state stamp stores that I've shopped for years!
Make An Impression located on Gilman Blvd in Issaquah. It is a few stores down from GI Joe's and Rite Aid. They have a huge selection and is worth the trip. You will love it.
Impress in Southcenter. Just west of the big mall in a small strip plaza next door to Paper Zone and a must stop also.
Don't miss either one. Have a great trip and be prepared to spend a few $'s.
Rubber Soul, if it's still there, in Redmond Towne Center, is a nice little store. Make an Impression, though, is monster-sized compared to any stores I've been in!
Shoot...there's one in Bellevue, too, but I can't think of the name. It's across 116th Ave. from Overlake Hospital & Med Ctr.
I was surprised to see how big of a scrap/stamp area the Ben Franklin in Redmond had, too....
The store across from the Overlake Hospital in the plaza there is called Bellevue Art and Frame. It is tucked in the southeast corner of the plaza.
I agree with the Ben Franklin comment in Redmond. It is a great place and lots of fun to poke around in. They stay very current and have new things all the time. They are located in the QFC shopping center which is west of the main village along the either Redmond Way or Redmond -Kirkland Rd. I don't get there too often but always make time to stop when I am up there.
There is a small Impress store in the Bellevue Square which is good but not half the fun as the one in Southcenter. Where exactly are you coming to next week?
Hope that these help out. I still hope you get to Make An Impression and the Impress in Southcenter. what a fun time you will have.
My favorites are Embossible Dream in Bremerton (511 4th St. Bremerton, WA 98337) and Rubber Soul in Poulsbo (18830 Front St. Poulsbo, WA. 98387) Both of these stores are predominately stamp stores, with some scrapbooking papers. I'm also a big fan of both Fun Stamps in Lynnwood, WA and Stampadoodle's in Bellingham, WA.

Live in the moment and make it so beautiful it's worth remembering.
Scrappy Daze in Issaquah just across Gilman Blvd and down a bit is paper and punch heaven. The Paper Zone at South Center in Tukwilla carries different things from the Paper Zone in Issaquah. Both are worth going to. There are several Impress stores in Bellevue, Tukwilla, and University Village all in the Seattle Area. For those of you coming further east you do not want to miss Stamparadise, Craft Warehouse, and Scrap Book Station all in Tri-Cities right near Costco. Yakima has one called Stamp Genie (I think). Walla Walla has By Arrangement. I love Apropos in Spokane.
Hey, I'm going to Wenatchee, Eastern Washington next weekend from British Columbia. Any near there?
not to many any more but here is what is available
craft warehouse in wenatchee avenue is about it in wenatchee
in cashmere (aplets and cotlets factory as well yummy) is a new store small but suppose to be nice my friend says. Though she can't remember the name of it.
Pickle Papers in Downtown Wenatchee also carries rubber stamps, ink pads, beautiful papers and accessories. It down a mile or two from the Craft Warehouse, which will be moving locations pretty soon (but not in the next week!) I haven't heard of the new stamp store in Cashmere, yet! Maybe it is in the huge new antique mall that is right off the highway through town? I better go check it out soon! What day and approximate time are you coming to town, MazG? I would love to meet you and shop with you! I have only been fortunate to meet one friend from SCS (Kayleesmom2000) and would love to meet another one! I need to keep a copy of this thread so I will know where to go in the Seattle area next time I am there, thanks for asking this question!
well we are suppose to hit several stores on our little trip to puyallup and possibly olympia this weekend so I will post what I find out when I get back as well. Mght be a good reference tool for later on
Craft Warehouse on N.Wenatchee Ave. for a variety of papers, stamps, embellishments, yarns, etc.
Pickle Papers in downtown Wenatchee has lots of great papers, ribbons, journals, etc. They don't have too many stamps, ink pads, etc any more. Peggy is a nice gal & you'll enjoy looking around
The one in Cashmere is called Scrappybooker Workshop. Address is 301 Sunset Hwy, Cashmere. It's in the same building as a fitness center. It's quite small but she's got a nice variety of papers, ribbons, embellishments. website http://www.scrappybookers.com/

Laura--is Jeanie your friend in Wenatchee?
I'm headed to Puyallup too

Am debating whether to go to Puyallup this weekend. Am looking for the best circle cutter out there for a decent price. Don't want the die cut machine. Have you been there before? Hopefully, there will be a lot of vendors and good ideas, also. Need to make a really special birthday card for my daughter and want some great sentimental rub ons for daughters....the ones we cry over
There are a few great scrapbook stores in Olympia that have some stamping supplies. A Little Bit of Heaven and Paper Artz
Ditto on Impress. Never been there, but ordered from there, and LOVE their stuff! Plus, they send me a hand stamped thank you card with my order! Now that's customer service!
another stamp store closed. Stamp Jeanie on monroe is no more. RUMOR has it she sold her stock to someone and they will open a store in anew location but so far no clue. that leaves Spokane one more stamp store Apropos and thats it.
Rubber Soul, if it's still there, in Redmond Towne Center, is a nice little store. Make an Impression, though, is monster-sized compared to any stores I've been in!

Rubber Soul is also in Poulsbo, WA. Great little shop with a whole lotta stamps. They have their own line of stamps. I got the coolest Ferry boat stamp there last weekend.

Oh, I am always in such trouble around here. I am within 3-10 miles of several cool places.
*Bellevue Square is the closest to me, was just there yesterday as a matter of fact to Impress, lots of cute stuff. Great selection of punches.
*Across the street from the Bellevue Square is Paper Source, the paper selection there is heaven!! and they have lots of other stamping items too.
*The Bellevue Art & Frame on 116th near Overlake as mentioned.
*Paper Zone on 20th (Northup).
*The usual suspects- Michael's and Joann's, (dangerously close to me- within walking distance) at the Crossroads Mall on NE 8th.
*The Bee's Knees Scrapbook Store
*Ben Franklin in Redmond has tons of stuff.
*Redmond Towne Center has Rubber Soul.
*Bothell Country Village has Stampin In The Rain, a small store but lots of great items and a very friendly and helpful owner.
*Seattle- Impress, Paper Zone, Monkey Love.
That is all I can think of for now, hope that helps.
