Anyone else get picked for their project?

I did! And I'll be posting all my reviews and such at www.livejournal.com/~skittl1321 (viewable to the public, much of the journal is only viewable to friends)
ME, ME, ME....I got picked too and I am so excited! I like what I see so far on their website. Some is similar to styles and designs I already have but those picked get to see "new" stamps!!
I got picked as well. I went ahead and ordered 2 sets well. I got 20% off my 1st order. So I got like 10 stamps for only 20$ great deal. And I love that I did not have to pay shiping. I am new to stamping and thought this would be a way to learn more and also build my collection ! FOR FREE !
Sounds like it should be fun!

So, in this email, it said to read over the first email for some important introductorty info. Well, I already deleted that first email. Does anybody know what it said?

Well its definitely got to be fun if nothing else hasn't it and like others have said free stamps and then review them, what could be easier!!! hopefully hehe
and won't it be great to see what we all do with them as well
How funny... I deleted the first email as well but luckily it was still in my trash bin!
Here is the email:
Dear Stamper,
Thanks so much for signing up for our new stamp review program. There's so much in store and I'm probably more excited than you are right now! My name is Adam Lewis, and I'm the owner of Rubber Stamping Fun.
You might be wondering why we would be giving away free stamps just for a review. That's actually a great question that I'd like to answer for you now. When my wife and I started Rubber Stamping Fun two years ago, we had one goal in mind -- Create the best stamping company...the best customer service...a great product line...and make it painlessly simple to order stamps all day, everyday!
From the day we sold our first little stamp online, until today, we've never forgotten our goals!
But in order to be the best stamping company around, you've got to constantly look for new ideas and get honest, frequent feedback.
We're entering a new phase as a company and frankly we need the help of stampers and scrapbookers just like you who have blogs and websites and who are passionate about great products. We'd like for you to be a part of the Rubber Stamping Fun family.
You'll be helping us by using our stamps, writing honest reviews, posting stamping and scrapbooking projects on your site, and getting the word out. As a way to show our appreciation for all of your help, you get to keep the stamps and stamping supplies!
We want to make the program as fun and exciting as possible, creating an environment where everyone feels totally free to communicate their ideas and suggestions.
Next week, you'll be receiving an email with more specific information about the program...and a SNEAK PEAK at the new set you will be getting in the mail, if you decide the program is what you are looking for!
Look for an email in your inbox next week for specific details and guidelines for the program. You'll want to make sure you that you don't delete any emails from [email protected]
How fun! Did they already close the process or are there are limited # of participants they are accepting?
I'm not sure to either ? but am very curious to know just how many...
I thought for sure with all the people here on SCS that I had like NO chance of being picked because with an ad like "Who wants free stamps?" who's not signing up, ya' know?
After I got the email this morning, it made me wonder just how many they were picking and from the looks of there are quite a few of us. How exciting!

Julie,
There wasn't any indication of numbers from the company. I got an email this morning, too, saying I'd been picked. Came here and lookie how many others there are!
I have to say, rarely do I click on banners, just a few come to mind. BUT, blog and free stamps in the same sentence had me curious...

V.
I must have been too much, as I don't recall seeing the banner ad myself! *snort*!
But, it sounds like a lot of fun!!!

They're offering each selected participant one set, right?
Is this a one-time situation, where they will select different people if they do it again? Or will you serve for a term on a panel of some sort?
The follow-up email says "you'll start receiving stamp sets in the mail over the next few months."
It doesn't say how many sets an individual will receive or how long a person will remain "on the list". They also are not requesting that you send your projects to them....just post them on your blog, website, or gallery page.

Hi Julie,
I think this is something that will be on-going. I've been working with Adam a bit on some of their products / projects and this is one of their new concepts to find out what stampers really like. I believe it will be a direct feedback for either stamp redesign or release, depending on what RSF learns.

It's really exciting, isn't it???
Thanks,
Lisa
It is indeed a fascinating approach! I will be watching with great interest!

This has been harder than pulling teeth let me tell ya...
NOTE: I'll be super careful, {moderator name not mentioned}, to make sure this post conforms to the super duper high standards for SCS forum excellence...so as not to be removed like all the others.
Talk about talent! I had the fun of personally reading over the submissions of all the wonderful stampers and scrapbookers who signed up...then clicked links to blogs, webpages, galleries...and more blogs...and read and viewed and read...until I needed a 12 pack of Visine eye drops.
I sure wish we could have selected everyone...:(
We'll be sure to let those of you who piled onto the waiting list a holler when the doors open again.
For those of you who were selected, big Congrats to you.
I'm on the edge of my office chair just waiting to see all those great ideas.
