No idea of what to swap on Monday at our group meeting.
No idea how many swaps I'll make, or what they will look like.
No idea of what to do for a shoebox swap at the splitcoast gathering after Regionals on Friday.
No idea of anything but what I will wear that day!
I have Christmas & Birthday stuff STILL in my tote to take to the Post Office!
Slack away, my friends. There's always the night before!
I read somewhere on this site that you should not use SAB sets because then the swappers will only be able to "use" them as displays for a few weeks. I love the SAB sets, however, I am trying to build up my display book to show customers. (I am a new demo) I don't think having the SAB sets in my display book would be good since we don't know which ones will be in next year's catty. I also read that only current SU products should be used (DUH!). Apparently there were demos swapping that used non-SU supplies. Can you believe it?
You will get all types of cards during the swap. Some that take your breath away & some that are OK. But whichever type you get remember, you too were a novice stamper at some point!!!!!! Be gracious!!!! Everyone works hard on their cards, even if they are done at last minute...lol
I think SU likes to just remind everyone to use only SU products. it makes sense
Take care!

Wow - 5 years! How fun is that?!
Have you lived in TX that whole time?
We are military so we move every 3 years - that will be interesting for business!

Hi Jenna,
I've been on bedrest for most of the 7 years I've been married(and I'm only 26 now!). I'm just now getting to the point where I can stamp a few hours a week so stamping is very slow for me. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia so it hurts terribly to stamp. 23 swaps is huge for me - I just want a miracle to happen so I can somehoiw get to 100. I need to see the blessings though and realize how good 23 is.
What swaps you making? Do you have a splitcoast gallery you can upload them onto for us to see? How many have you made? You go girl!
~Jodie
I will scan one & email it to you. It needs to be a surprise for everyone else. Nothing spectacular, but it loses it's OOMPF when they have seen it
Let me know how I can help you make more. If you send me a picture& If I have the right supplies maybe I could do some for you. let me know, I would LOVE to help!!!!

Jenna,
You are just too sweet. Last night you make me a million avatars and now you want to help with swaps. Thanks so mcuh for the offer! But I'd hate to take away time that you could do yours!

my mom has Fibromyalgia, have you tried any of the diets that are suppose to aid in getting your body in balance. She has a cookbook she uses and thinks certain foods make for better days.

I've spent 7 years trying everything under the sun to try to help with this. Some say eat this some say don't eat this. What is the title of the cookbook that your mom is finding help with? I'd like to check it out. Some stuff works for awhile but nothing is a real fix. I just want healing but know that with fibro there is no cure.
The RA is so aggressive it is eating my body faster then we can keep up with so that is a lot of the pain. I am on injections and a bunch of pain meds for that.
Thanks for your help,
Jodie
Are you going to Regionals in SA? I'll be there on Saturday - hopefully without a wheel chair!
YEP...300. Last Regional (Tulsa) I only made 150 and that was not enough - I was sad because there were so many more pretty trades that I wanted and could not get because I didn't make enough. I HAVE to go on Friday because that was the only day available for my customers to attend. I had already had paid for Saturday (to go with my group) and I LOVE hanging out with them and I REFUSE to give up that day.....so I'm going Friday too. This actually works out okay....because...I can now take business classes on Friday and do extra make-n-takes on Saturday.
Hi Jenna,
Okay I will! How will I know who you are? Have we figured out what us scs are going to do to find each other?
I pooped out this afternoon so I got the eyelet holes punched but still need to actually put the eyelets in them! But that will be done quickly in the morning.
~Jodie
uuhhhmmm let me think about this?? How about NO LOL
You guys are crazy! I may have to blow up a picture & put it on my Name tag though. I will keep you posted. I would LOVE to see anyone else's name tag!
