Default Scratch 'n Sniff!

Can anyone tell me how to do this technique? I thought it would be perfect with Fresh Fruits.

I was in a technique card swap a while back, and someone did the scratch 'n sniff technique. Here's the card with the instructions printed on it:

Hope this helps!

No proble, Lynn, and thanks, Stacy for the instructions! I just ordered the Bold Brights and Earth Elements embossing stacks which will work well with Fresh Fruits and the sugarfree Kool-Aid. It kind of made me laugh to read that it needed to be sugarfree because I don't eat sugar and everything in my house is already sugarfree. What a coincidence!

I am working on a card with this tonight - you have to be careful to tap off the bigger clumps of Koolaid if you want an even look - perhaps the bumpier the better, but I've got a face on my icecream clown - trying to make it look zit free!

Okay, hope this isn't a stupid question  , but when you say "sugarfree", do you feel the little envelopes that you would add sugar to, but you just add it straight from the envelope or actually Kool-Aid that says "sugar free"? Thanks again!

The little packets are the ones to use straight out of the package. Kool-aid does sell large packets with sugar in them. That's the only reason for stating sugar free.

I really prefer to use the sugar free Jell-o. I think the scent lasts longer but you do have more scent choices with the Kool-aid.

Another thread talked about this. Yes it has to be sugar free. Sugar melts/burns as does the UNSWEETENED. The sweetener in sugar free does not ...

I make these cards TONS!!!

My best advise is this: DONT use unsweetened kool-aid (the little packets that you add sugar to). They still have sugar in them, and it will burn.

You MUST use the Sugar-Free Kool-Aid, (little more expensive...about $4/box). I also use the Sugar-Free JELLO....smells better............longer!!!

Okay, well, when I was at Walgreen's today (right by my house, I avoid the larger grocery store at all cost), I remembered this technique and was going to buy the sugar-free jello but the boxes were so light it felt like they were empty! I thought maybe they were old or defective. Is that the way they are supposed to be? So light it feels empty? (Sorry if I sound dumb, I do have my moments, but in this case I plead inexperience, I just don't buy anything sugar-free! YUK!)

Mom2MalNJaden - Yes...they are suppose to feel 'empty'....no sugar!!! Those are the right ones!!! You will have tons of fun with this technique!
