Does anyone know if there will be a fan club special like they had last January? I am thinking of joining and will be soooooo mad if there is a special after I join LOL
Are you members who joined happy? I dont really get it, but was thinking of taking it for a spin and seeing how I like it.
I finally finished my immigration documents and got them out ( papers three inches thick). I am so stressed after all that I need some retail or clicktail therapy LOL

Same here. I figure they give us all this info for FREE, the least I could do was join their site. The DD gallery is just the icing on the cake!!:mrgreen:
I've never regretted joining! Love the instant downloads, the great Dirty Dozen gallery and the priviledge of being able to download on No Download Sunday! I spend so much time here and get so much encouragement and support here, I don't mind supporting them AT ALL!
I also joined mainly to show my support for this awesome site. But wow-- the Dirty Dozen gallery is amazing! And being able to upload on Sunday's is nice too, because that's when I have the most time here!
It's the best!! Sooo well worth the money. You would spend that much on a subscription to a stamping magazine that you would only get 6 times a year. THe fan club brings you many more samples every month!! A great deal!
I don't know of any specials coming up. But it is a great way to support the site....if you have the extra $ I would go for it! They put in countless hours to keep this site up & running smoothly for us! And having instant uploads is a nice perk.

I remember wondering the same thing a few years back....$25 seemed like a lot of money just to look at some more cards.....but then my hubby (bless his heart) reminded me how much time I spend on this website,how much I've learned from it etc & maybe I should give bck to those who give so much.
The gallery is AMAZING! And you get to look at previous months creations. Think about it....when was the last time you subscribed to a magazine and got all of the past editions as a "BONUS"?!!!
This is THE BEST resource out there.....let's keep it up and running! Donating to join the Fan Club is the best way I know how to do it.

Who thought stamping websites really could be fun
There�d be galleries and places they could chatter
He set his mind to build the perfect one!
From the get-go, there were few stampers
And, the uploads and the chatter were quite slow
But, as more new people came to hang around it
The galleries and forums came to grow! :grin:
There was always a PayPal button
So that people stopping by would have a chance
To support the little website and its owner

Jenn and Beate had an idea
For a way to help the website stay afloat
They created what is now known as the DD

Splitcoast is supported solely by Fan Club Memberships (folks who choose to donate support) and advertising revenue. As you can see, SCS has chosen to accept advertisement relevant to our website�s content, which is stamping and paper crafting focused, and refused ads that promote pharmaceutical products, gambling, etc.
With that decision, however, comes additional concerns on revenue required to service and maintain the website, to cover servers, bandwidth, operations, technical, and administrative costs. Financial support from users is integral to keeping the site up and running.
The Dirty Dozen Gallery, unveiled each month on the 15th, and Instant Upload privileges, are extended to Fan Club Members as a thank-you gift for that voluntary support.

as a child I was an avid Brady Bunch viewer . . . I was trying to figure a way to tell the story expediently, and I am in a sing-song mood today . . . ;)

I cancelled my stamping type magazine subscriptions and joined the Fan Club. It seemed the least I could do for the site that is my inspiration, my support, my source to find all the latest and greatest tools, techniques and new stamps. I have grown so much as a stamper because of this place !
If everyone who uses this site joined, just imagine the possibilities.....
I dont buy many stamping magazines anymore ... just the odd one here and there ... instead I support the Fan Club here ... and I learn SO much here ... its worth every single penny! And I love that we can upload on Sundays! That in itself is worth every penny to me!

You could join for a half a year and it wouldn't cost that much.
