Northernstamper -- that is so awesome that you're going to be able to join us!!! I'm looking forward to meeting you, and everyone else that will be there that day!
Hi Ladies-
We have 8 for the shoebox swap as of this morning. Don't feel limited to just cards, any project would be great. In fact, the more varied the better!
Hi all,
I cant make the meeting as I posted previously, but since my daughter and I will be in New Market at a Christmas Stamping party, wondered if we get done early if anyone would mind if we just stopped by to meet and greet!
Hello Rose, Michelle and Chelseacat - Please come by and say Hi!
We'd love to meet you - I am just so excited to actually put a face with some of these names! It's like a Family reunion with people you feel like you know, but have never met!
The reservation checks are rolling in - so if you know anyone who is interested let me know soon - space is filling up! Thanks, Michelle
And Consuelo - I know several people coming are not Demonstrators, and that's ok! I have several customers who have expressed and interest in coming - just to get some ideas and some "quiet time" to scrap and stamp!
Have a wonderful day - Michelle
Ok - So far - 22 have RSVP'd and 6 have PAID. I have had several inquiries without any sort of confirmation as well. I posted it on Stampin' Discuss and have had a few emails from that.
I'll let you know if anything changes - Thanks, Michelle
Lisa ~ you were one of my motivators for going so that we would get a chance to sit and stamp for a change! Not that we don't stamp at meetings, lol! Next time.
Hello - To anyone who has expressed an interest in this get-together who hasn't sent in their payment yet - please email me so that I can be sure you are on the list. We are getting close to the maximum capacity as far as people who have expressed an interest. If you have paid - your spot is confirmed, but if you haven't paid please email me.
I don't want to save a spot for someone who isn't coming and turn away people who really are interested. Thanks for taking the time to email me - Michelle [email protected]
I just sent some Private Messages to some of you who expressed an interest in this get together. Please email me if you are planning to come and haven't "reserved" your spot yet. I have several people that have told me they are interested, but I don't want to overbook it! Thanks, sorry I hate to sound like a nag with this! Have a good day - Michelle
* several more have their checks on the way! Yipee - This is gonna be FUN! Don't forget to contact Michele (Mzaiderman) if you want to participate in the Shoebox Swap!
The list has been updated to reflect two more reservations. Thanks to all who have sent lovely cards with their deposit! I feel like I've been RAK'd! Have a great day - Michelle
Michele (Mzaiderman) How many do we have in the shoebox swap so far? I'm trying to plan out supplies so I'm sure I have enough of everything!
Anyone who hasn't signed up to swap, please do! I know it'll be a blast, and I'd hate for anyone to be left out!
Also, Michelle, did a dinner plan ever get made? I'm happy to pot-luck or order pizza (or pot-luck for lunch and order pizza for dinner if the food's all gone), but I want to plan that cooking into my week!
I pretty much left it open. I said maybe just Brown Bag a lunch and do a Pizza order for dinner - then we won't have to worry about Dishes/silver ware etc. Paper plates and Napkins. I spoke with Dominos Pizza and they said if we order like 5 pizzas we can get discount. Basically 2 free. Works for me. Just please let me know if anyone feels otherwise.
I am planning to bring Sodas and Water Bottles also. I hadn't thought about Coffee - but that might be a good idea.
Also FYI - There is a nice restaurant right by the Grange Hall and also a McDonalds within a few miles. There is also a Deli type restaurant a few miles away.
I am open to suggestions - Thanks, Michelle
I need to back out of the Shoebox Swap. I've been spreading myself (and my cardstock) too thin lately and I need to start drawing the line. Sorry to overcommit myself like that!

Is anyone interested in having a trade/sale table of retired/unwanted stamp sets (following SU! guidelines, of course!). I would be willing to coordinate. Let me know if you are interested.
I would definitely be interested in a Trade/Sale table. I have some retired sets that may be just what someone is looking for as well as some currents that I justdon't use like I thought I would. Count me in!
Geez - I'm gonna need a Semi truck for all of the stuff I'm bringing!
- Michelle
FYI - I will be posting directions to the Grange in a while. I drove by it yesterday - it looks like the perfect location. I hope everyone will be happy with it! Take care - Michelle
Okay, if I remember correctly, we have this hall from 10 to 10. That sounds like a long time to me! Are most of you planning on staying 12 hours?! Or will there be some general start time?
Just wondering...

I'm probably going to hit the AC Moore in Frederick on my way, and I'd be stunned if I got out of the house before 9, so I'll probably be a little late (depending on how long I spend going "ooooooh"), but I plan to stay until at least 8 or 9, depending on how fast I get things done. I'm like santa with the gift list, and with two kids under 5, time to get those gifts done (not to mention the christmas cards) is golden. Possibly even platinum.
That said, this is the first time since my second was born that I've left my dh with two kids for the whole day, so...no promises.
HI all - I will be there by 10 am just to open up etc, but I don't know if I will last 12 hours. That's just how long we have the hall rented for.
I guess we can all just play it by ear. I had a thought though - We need to all wear some kind of nametag so that we are easily Identifiable!
I have begun to sort things for the Trade table.
How many are we up to for the Shoebox swap? I guess I really need to get that all sorted out too!
Oh My goodness - I think I may be in over my head! LOL!
I will post directions later on - gotta get the kids in bed first. - Michelle
We still have 9 for the shoebox swap: Leslie, Kate, Michele Z. Michelle, Doreen, Lori, Consuelo, Carolyn and Pam.
I think we should set a cut off date for signing up so that everyone has ample time to prepare for the swap. Friday November 5 will be the last day to sign up.
I'll probably get ther around noon. I've never participated in a shoebox swap before, but do we have to set up a time and move through the swap or do people go through in their own time at their own pace?
