Default selling cards with sayings

For those of you who sell cards, do you stamp a saying on the inside or leave it blank?

I am in the process of making a bunch of cards to sell but I don't always have just the right saying and tend to want to leave it blank but I don't know if people prefer a saying on the inside or not.

Default Sayings on the inside

Funny, I was just thinking about that. Here is what I thought - -- Stamp on a coordinating color and add a few slips with different sayings that they could attach to the inside!?!?!

i leave a lot of my cards blank.... but for Christmas Cards... and some brithday ones, I print a message on cardstock (from the computer). I have some verse stamps that i use for my personal cards.. and a few I sell.. but usually they're blank or printed.

I leave most blank and bring a few stamp sets with me so if they want a saying they can pick it out. I bring just a few main colors of ink also.

I've always sold in sets, often by personal request. I just ask what kind they want. Say, 10 birthday, 5 Thinking of you, etc. And always blank on the inside for some of them.

Most of my customers want cards with sentiments inside, unless they're looking for thank you cards. I try to have plenty of birthday and generic congratulations cards available. I have considered having a stash of sentiments printed on lightweight paper for the inside, but it seems like a lot of hassle.

I sell all mine with sayings inside. I print it out on quality computer paper and adhere it to the inside. I find that, more often than not, the saying is what sells the card. I do try to come up with interesting or funny sayings that are tied to the card design. I often include the sayings when I upload cards here on SCS.
