I was looking for a Thread on sharing our Christmas cards for this year but cant find one...I finally decided what to make for our card this year and was would love to see what everyone else is making!
here's one of mine, PTI winter jar fillers for the candy canes. i can not make just one kind.....i have fun with creating many and then deciding which card goes to which recipient.
the shiny red (embossed with a CB snowflake folder) is from a large shiny gift bag from the $$ store. that paper is great for deep embossing and is quite reasonable.
i love your card....the glittery stars are perfect as are the colors.

What a great idea using the bag. They have some that are huge for only a buck. You could get lots of layers from just one. You are so clever!
Oh, and very cute cards you've made, too.

I just downloaded my first card and would like to share it. This card is totally cased from my dear friend and teacher Lolly. The picture does not do it justice. The star dream paper in lapis is very shimmery and the glitteritz stardream is so pretty.
Let me know how I can attach a link to my gallery or go there and see. I am going to finally figure out how to share my cards, even though they are CASED. And I will give credit due to those who inspire me.

Lorri, I sent you a PM to try to explain how to link your gallery in a post.

I simply CANNOT make one design....plus I have faaaaar too many stamps to NOT use them all (or at least some, hehe...don't ask me how many I have please, I never learned to count that high, hahahaha). So, I make two cards at a time throughout the season and end up with well over 100 by the time I send them. Fun, fun, fun if you ask me. Only problem is that often times people will comment on the card I sent them and I have to ask them what it looked like, hahaha! I also rather enjoy trying to pick out just the "right" card from my stash for each recipient. I know, I'm weird:-)
So, I'll show you a couple of my faves so far (and by the way everyone's cards above are super cute)! Some of these are CASES and you can find the originator in my gallery (I think I got them all uploaded). Can't wait to see what everyone else has to share!
All very nice cards. I had better get busy. I still have a few from last year stamp and stack but still have a few to do. Stopped sending cards years ago, then discovered cardmaking lol
Hopefully this is how you get a photo in a post, or at least the link to a photo of my card in my gallery.
Oh wow - so many GORGEOUS cards in this thread!!! Such talent!!! I know lots of people are going to have smiles on their faces when they open their mailbox this year
Minders ! i do that too, people will say how much they liked the card and i have no clue as to what card it was.....i have to ask them to describe it. even then sometimes i am blank. i also can not do just one kind...i make a few at a time (usually from ones i have seen or a new technique)...then i have to determine which card goes to which friend....
