All I have to say is I would have to kill DH (or anyone else that lives in my house) if he touched my beloved stmaping stuff, that room is off limits to everyone but me and my doggy
And Britta, your DH *is* a stamper if he stamped that fantabulous card, wow, it's beautiful!

haha I gave him my old heat gun and he uses that to heat seal the wrap around wine bottles. I did open the stampin' scrub and reminded him how to clean up. We have stamped together before, and he has stamped very simple cards in the past. But this was his most thought out effort.

Did he really make this card????? Wow, you got him trained...
All I asked for was a card-we are going out Saturday night to a new restaurant he found so I think he got off pretty easy on the whole Valentine's Day scale, LOL.

I haven't opened my card yet. We work opposite shifts and will see each other @ supper. I'll try to post it tonight when I get home. Don't know if he's "stamped" anything or not, but it is handmade. L8R.
Ok, I'll play. My DH made me a card too! He doesn't really like to stamp so he drew the main image instead, masked it to stamp the background and added some organdy ribbon. I was pretty impressed that he even knew the terminology! Here's My V-day card from my DH.

Beautiful!!
If I could draw like that I probably wouldn't need to pick up a stamp! LOL
(and yummy looking crepes as well-we always have them on Christmas morning!)
Happy Valentine's Day!

What a great artistic treat!
The others are great looking as well.
And I had started a thread before but will contribute here as well. My DH did his at sort of a make and take (LOL) but it still looks great to me!
DH confessed to me tonight that he's been trying for 2 weeks to make a card for me, but he "couldn't even bear to look at them" so he tossed them. I wish I could see! *Now* I see why my VV has been disappearing!!
He used some wallpaper from a sample book. It also had matching material -- that's the heart on the front. The big heart on the inside is punched to reveal the wallpaper pattern (plaid). He said he knew that I loved plaid. How sweet!
This is what my dh made me. He didn't get home from work until after midnight and had to leave before 7am. This is what he made. He used Real Red and used a punch to round the corners and to make the flower. A white punched floer was on the inside. He said he wanted to use the heart punch, but couldn't find it. (It was not in my stampin' space alas). He said the punch was a snowflake, which I guess it could be when done in white. It was so cute of him.

BTW - Thanks to everyone who left comments. It made the day for DH! I pointed out he had far more views and comments than most of my cards. (But I don't think he is going to take over the stamping area any time soon.)
And yes, he is a keeper - better be after 49+ years together! And yes, he is most supportive - often asks why I don't buy this or that for stamping - we are just out of space!
Awww! Such sweet cards and sweet husbands. I got a store bought card.....I'm not complaining, my birthday card was a paper bar napkin (from the restaurant where we went to dinner, at least) with his drawing of a cat. It was cute, but I told him he could only get away with that once.
The first time DH made a card for me was for our ten year anniversary. Ladies, let me tell you! He accompanied the card with a ring and I would have been more than happy with the card. Honest! The card was AMAZING. SU! even used the card in one of their opening videos during convention a few years ago! I was so totally honored (by the card and by the video!) He hasn't been able to top that card but I am so glad he is still stamping for me!
Here is this year's valentine

He said the center heart is pulsating and creating the little tiny hearts surrounding it. (he he he... He is so darn cute!)

My DH forgot to obtain a card for me. Usually he buys one. To make up for it, he made me this:
It has 4 layers! ;)
I have been unmounting some of my sets. I bought CD crates to put them in, and I wanted shelves on the wall so I would have a place to put my crates where I could reach them easily. We purchased the lumber last weekend, and I expected us to finish the shelves this weekend, but DH finished them on Valentine's Day instead.
The shelves are better than a card. My DH is a keeper.

If you look in my gallery, there are a couple of cards my fiance made for me, as well as my desk he made for me. He actually made me a pocket card for V-day, without a template, and he did an awesome job. He is actually a good artist and a fantastic doodler. I have bought him some stamps in the past and he's used them on his art and things. I'm so luck, check out the link in my gallery and to to my albums!! He's the greatest, I have no doubts about saying yes when he asked me to marry him this past month!
