Sharpening your prisma's...

Dumb question but which end do you sharpen? The end that says the color, the end that says Prismacolor, or does it just not matter? Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I want to sit down and sharpen them while watching Grey's anatomy tonight.

don't have them in front of me... but just be sure you sharpen the end that does NOT have the color name on it - makes it easier to replace that way! HTH!

I sharpen mine at the opposite end than the one that says the color. I fugure when mine start getting low and I need to replace one, I want to know which color it is that I need to buy! :mrgreen:

My thoughts exactly! I sharpened on the Prismacolor end. Whenever possible, I try to preserve the name of anything!!!! I hate crawlin' into that black hole of ... Holy Cow, now I'll NEVA find out the name of or item#, etc...

Gotta agree with everyone else, not the end with the color on it. My DD "helped" and sharpened a few of my new ones on the wrong end! I have to remember to write the name down before I sharpen it away.

Ohhh Martha!!! Aren't they sooo much help? :( Even when they do help, they're making even more work for us... *sigh*
